Liverpool (H) Post-Match Thread

I suggest before having a go you get the full facts then next time

if people stick to talking about the game and challenging peoples opinions in the correct manner then there wouldnt be a problem. I have no problem if you disagree with my opinion on players/games/refs decisions etc - infact I welcome open intelligent debate as thats the way we learn but some people on here just cant do that.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Another person presuming a lot, throwing some veiled insult but knowing very little.
Go watch the first twenty minutes or so and tell me my pre match comments were wrong - how many times did Mendy and gundogan give the ball away and nearly cost us? This isnt negative -its a fact.

Im delighted we won. ive supported city since i could stand up and stood on the Kippax (sat on walls when i was litte to be accurate) the all through my teens before moving away from Manchester.

If you dont like opposing opinions I would suggest a forum is the wrong place for you....
The same goes for you - basically you don’t like his opinion either but it’s as free a world for him as it is for you. He just happens to have a different, and dare I say more upbeat, view to you

You are an utter muppet simon. Doom and fucking gloom. Singling out the players you don’t like for your usual criticism, as fucking despicable as it is predictable. We just smashed the champions 4 0 and you make it sound like we were lucky. You are alarmingly despondent and I actually feel sorry for you
Quality by the blues tonight ,we rearly needed that and we have layed down a marker lettin everyone know, weve had a blip yess, but we aint goin fuckin no where see you next season bring ur a game, a pissed off man city is a dangerous man city

Great performance and result, by god that was one salty interview from klipperty Klopp

I get so frustrated at some of the goals chalked off for handball, particularly where it’s unavoidable / unintentional and. another player still has some work to do before scoring

Yeah I would be like Bernado too, F-this, if not have cup of coffee, I just tied my shoe then. No f way I will clap these cnuts.

Anyone here think Chelsea might get something out of Liverpool? A draw? Chelsea, newcastle, I have a feeling Dippers will drop points in there.

I actually rarely post in the match day thread - i did tonight but its rare as Im usually watching the game so again you are wrong.

Liverpool had 3-4 chances before we scored (including hitting the post) - that had nothing to do with unlukcy - it was to do with mistakes by our players - the very ones i pointed out before the match. go and re watch it and you will see.

I understand some fans cannot take even the slightest bit of criticism or opinion that may make it look like we aint perfect but in the first 20 mins we got away with it on a number of occasions and if you cant see that (or wont) then thats your problem. This isnt negative its just a fact.

I agree we also created a lot of chances - it could have been 6-7 tonight with one being cleared off the line as it was going in and one good goal disallowed by the most ridiculous interpritation of the handball rule (that also funnily happened to spurs as well this evening)

The point that maybe either Im not making very well or people are missing is that when we play Liverpool (and a couple of other similar teams) we have come undone before cause of the points I made before the game - tonight that happened again BUT we got a way with it down to some good keeping, poor finishing/first touches and the post also saving us. Previously Liverpool have been lethal in those situations and they have punished us. We always create chances BUT if they had scored first (like in the past) it could have been a very different game. As i said in a differnt post, if you weather the first 20-25 mins against liverpool then they usually slack of a little in their pressing and you have a much better chance - and tonight that happened
Just be happy ,sometimes a game doesn't need the guts ripping out of it

Liverpool going to win next game, Aston Villa is at relegation of the list, and when was the last time they won a game?
However I can see Chelsea, New Castle, Arsenal (if they show up) might get something out of Liverpool. If they draw two of those games, they won't beat MCFC points record.

Who is this new team New Castle?

Have they given the city a new name since the takeover

Tonight I watched the match on my laptop via my ‘rebel’ son’s Sky Go. I think that is about only the second time I’ve watched on Sky and boy oh boy do I now see what you all mean when you call their ‘pundits’ and ‘commentators’! They are rubbish, absolutely rubbish, garbage rubbish who were dug out of the bins by the bin dippers!!!

I said this at work. 2 yrs ago the dippers were 25 pts behind. 12 mths later 1pt behind. 12 mths later 25 in front.
How the fook even in general elections do you create a "swing around of points"like that on football merit alone????
Point proven tonight

VAR ruling against the Mahrez goal was a joke. Yes it his his hand but he was clattered from behind to put his hand in that position
That isn't VAR's fault, it's that idiotic handball rule that was introduced at the start of the season by FIFA without taking into account incidents like that one where the attacker handles it as a result of a foul.

Just be happy ,sometimes a game doesn't need the guts ripping out of it

Oh i am Karen

I thought we played really well - and very cooly as well something that has been lacking a bit recently and at times this season. We looked very relaxed throughout the game (maybe its the absence of fans etc). I love the fact that sterling scored - that will hurt those inbreds more than the rest of the game

I wouldnt have posted half of this but just defending myself with people trying to call me out -just a bit of fun
