The decision last night was a disgrace, the defender was attempting to block a shot and Bruno literally jumped into his non-challenging leg. United are playing good football and looking like a much better outfit now, but you can really tell they are truly back when they are starting to get these kind of bullshit decisions again.

The number of penalties they get simply isn’t supported by logic.
Well, all things being equal, it quite possibly is.

The human brain seems to expect random to mean a relatively balanced spread that evens itself out over a given period, whereas true randomness has no such bounds to constrain it.

Assuming that there is a somewhat random
distribution of penalties due to refs being completely neutral and unbiased, then we should fully expect there to be what appear to humans as 'extremely strange looking clusters' of results.
The rags just happen to be such a cluster.

Again.

And again.
And again.
And again.
And..

...ahh, yes, even without that massive assumption, I think I see where you're coming from now...

so they've scored 124 goals in the past 2 seasons, 18 of which were penalties out of a possible 25.

So 14.5% of their goals come from the spot, and if they'd scored them all the maximum available would have been 25 out of 131, so 19.1%.

So if they'd taken all the favours the refs had given, a fifth of their goals in the past 2 seasons would have come from the spot.

In contrast, we've scored 9 out of 14 penalties and scored 181 goals. So our percentage of goals from the spot is 4.9%, and our maximum % would be 7.5% (14/186). So a 10-12.5% swing, in terms of a title, top 4 race or relegation fight is a huge advantage to have. Given they've had 11 more penalties in that time too.

Am sure when VAR first came out Riley and his cronies needed meeting after meeting before declaring there was an issue.

They've already come out and confirmed in last night's games alone there were three incorrect VAR decisions.

Whoopsie. Am sure it will be fine if we just make a little hiccup and then say 'oops' afterwards. Time after time, bit unusually seemingly in favour of the same collection of teams. Not to mention that the decision making process itself kills the game.

If it takes away from the passion of the game, the excitement and the viewing enjoyment as a fan, confused coaches and players alike, and we still end up with a fair share of incorrect decision, what have we done here other than give another official the chance to put his view into the mix, and, regardless of what you think do our game and the chances it is corrupt, more people in the mix means more chance of the process being compromised.

We all see what is going on here. No way United will be allowed to miss out on the chance to be higher. The premier league needs a successful man united, don't forget.

If it was just 1-0 to the rags last night and villa go down by 1 points they should be able to sue the referees in the Var box and that bent bastard Riley.

All the reasons i'm not renewing.
Its a fuckin joke.
Kev could score a 35 yard screamer and you just know the bastards will try and find summat to rule it out.
RIP football......as we know it.

I turned off after that outrageous penalty decision that should have resulted in a free kick for Villa. Football is now a cross between a Pantomime and WWE.

They’ve been here before, remember them wanking about Paris and the amazing run the paperboy put together. For the eye watering amount of money they have invested in Maguire, Wan Bissaka and Fernandez they will be 4 points better off than last season if they win their remaining games.

I don’t get why the rag hordes are thinking this is some amazing achievement, the team they put out in the derby cost more than City’s a City team that has won back to back titles. Sorry but if you spend as much as they do they should have a lot more to show for it than they do now. Even though Leicester can’t be trusted and Chelsea have to go for to Anfield, I think we might be pissing our sides at the end of the season with them still in 5th.

Why is bbc bigging them up so much, they are just about fighting for 4th place. And Carlton Pogba is now the best player in the world again?

They play for penalties. Their players are very good at winning them I’ll give them that but this is a deliberate tactic.

Always have done......i know 100% that a few years back during bacon chops era, they used to pay circus entertainers to teach the players how to fall....in other words teach them how to make it look bad,but not hurt themselves.

Just seen the rags' "penalty" incident.

Fucking Hell!

Fernandes actually steps on the Villa defender's leg and falls over.

How the fuck did VAR give that?

Oh yes, it was the rags. Enough said.

Not even attempting to disguise their corruption Vienna .

The PTB at the FA, PL and PiGMOL can count themselves lucky that they are not having to explain an incident that resulted in a broken leg for one player and a long absence from the game was deemed to be a penalty obvious for anyone with two eyes to see.
Sky should be asked why their three one eyed ex United players so often get it wrong as well with access to all the camera angles close up slow downs etc.
Or just admit it is all bent and they are party to it.
Sorry daydreaming again.

Loads of ex Rag's have been calling that decision a joke . Dion Dublin was pretty upset by it on MOTD and Peter Shmeichel called it a disgrace on Twitter.
