Maybe. I still think he has a fair bit to lose. As I said earlier though, I’m not necessarily saying I think he’s acted a twat on this. At this point he’s someone I have a lot of time for and would be very surprised if it turned out he had gambled on making stuff up when he knows how worked up fans are about it.

Possibly, but I don't think like I said previously,he would take a punt or gamble with something as big as this is really.

He will have loads of Blues who value his opinions and thoughts but come Monday morning it could possibly cap off a terrible week for him too

It's a massive statement for Cheesy to put out, huge. I just don't see him coming out with if it wasnt coming from the right sources imo. It's either true or someone's really trying to take the pi$$ out of us. Time will tell.
Same with me really quite annoyed with him. I don't usually slag off fellow blues but he's gone a step too far. What had he hoped to achieve if he's wrong he's laid open himself and all other blues to ridicule.
Sorry Cheesy but my "ratingometer" has swung from "well meaning true blue" towards "attention seeking wanker ".
Can't believe I've written that but it's what I feel.

Anybody relying on Friday's World Exclusive from Ian Cheeseman wants their bumps felt.

I'm honestly sick of reading this guys name. On Twitter the other day there was his regular flock of 20 followers demanding the club give him a lifetime 'press pass' !!!!!

He was sacked by the BBC. Had subsequent local radio shows cancelled. And has now had his 'match day vlogs' with City cancelled.

As sad as it is for the man, he is just too unfashionable for modern media. There is just not enough viewers or listeners interested.

There are wide scale redundancies across all media platforms. Do any other reporters having to rethink their careers campaign for a charity pass ??? Of course not.

And now he chooses to pull Friday's rabbit out of the hat which supporters desperate for good news latch on to.

I pray we are cleared on Monday, but Cheeseman's tweet was a desperate post from a desperate man which everybody should ignore.
He has an interview with Trevor Morley on his channel this week.

Morley was cool even to the point of discussing the Bishop in my bed and my wife stabbed me incident, Cheesy's questioning of it was dire, even Morley seemed shocked at his unwillingness to delve deeper.

True, Tony Evans even stated that we were going to be banned for three seasons.
Was Evans wearing a shell suit swigging a can of lager at Albert docks waving his red flare while setting off fireworks when he heard that it is he just full of bullshit?
Or was he on talksport as tony the average Liverpool fan (why they don’t say it’s tony Evans the dipper journo)
Can’t stand him or maddock or Pearce
Fucking cheerleaders not journalists

Quietly confident. For me, Guardiola’s comments at yesterday’s press conference are the most significant indication to date of a positive result. In my experience, the parties will certainly have had prior sight of the judgment before it is made public.

Tbf to IC he was sacked by the rag infested bbc for criticising a rag, sorry altrincham fan, cunnt sorry referree, and given the referees performance in that game I think his criticisms were justified and the bbc isn’t a stick to beat him with

Add to that list tax evasion (Hoeness), watch smuggling (Rumennigge), links to terrorists (Liverpool sponsors Standard Chartered - Iran and Western Union - Hezbollah), offsetting £50 million against FFP losses for stadium development costs for a non-existent stadium (Liverpool again), getting state aid (Madrid & Barca), match fixing (Juventus). The list goes on.
Juventus did a more obvious botch job of a sponsor I’ve ever seen.

- about to fail FFP due to wage bill after signing C. Ronaldo

- Jeep are owned by the same people as Juventus

- Jeep spontaneously decide to increase their annual payments to Juventus by 25 MILLION EUROS, despite having many years left on their existing sponsorship contract.

- what do you know? That was just the amount they needed to scrape through FFP.

UEFA asking for the decision to be moved from the day of their draw so as not to take attention away from it was the big tell.

Most of the worlds press/media were at the draw I would guess, yet not one of them have used their contacts within UEFA to get a heads up ?. Not one press/media has been able to get a lead from an organisation that leaks like a sieve. Odd.

That’s actual book cooking right there if anyone can be arsed to investigate rather than mumbling ‘fair value’ like a boot locker.

LOL and Jeep cited ‘performances’ as the reason they randomly massively increased their own sponsorship with Juve.

With zero corroboration we can obviously bin the Cheeseman tweet. Don't think he put it out for attention particularly, just a bit naive.

I still think the lack of anything out of UEFA is positive. I'm not talking full on New York Times, I mean nothing yet to give the usual suspects enough to be firm in their tone on the matter. The Delaney tweet a classic of its genre - the "I have no idea - all my sources are quiet" tweet.

5 twats in one post, is that a BM record?
No, I don’t believe it is you twat, twat, twat, twat, twat, twat!

:-)

What funny is it isn’t a word I use very often, but it was the word being used to describe Cheesey, so that is what I used.

I don't think Rick Parry works for them anymore and the rest have had their cards marked.

We'll officially get nothing other than a result on Monday. Whether the fuller judgement gets released depends on the agreement of both parties but I'd guess there will have been things said in the hearing that City would prefer to keep quiet, particularly about the funding of Etihad.

Ceferin, on the other hand, may be quite happy for the details to be released as it would help him clean out the stables and establish more of a power base, if it could be seen just how corrupt some of the UEFA key figures and groups were.
Publication can only be suppressed if both parties agree, if only one party wants that the judgement will still be published.

R59 - The award, a summary and/or a press release setting forth the results of the
proceedings shall be made public by CAS, unless both parties agree that they should
remain confidential. In any event, the other elements of the case record shall remain
confidential.

Wall of silence from the media is telling, and goes to show that the underlying hatred and racism against our club and our owners when the initial public trial was ongoing and punishment given was evident in all the pleasure they took in reporting it.

That hatred and racism levelled towards our owners is still present, at the minute it is subdued because the leaks that occurred last time are not in place.

Those that leaked the info when this all began, were executing their plan in the public domain via their media connections are now blind and that is a good thing. This shows how UEFA is infested with certain vested interests from cartel mafia clubs.

It will be interesting to see how the media deal with all this in their Sunday articles, the wall of silence will be tested as those that want to see us punished - regardless of our club saying we have evidence to show no guilt - will put some anti-City pieces out as a last chance in the event should the CAS rule in our favour.

Those that are still blind enough to still read the press media and believe a narrative that serves a certain purpose, will no doubt jump on the saying that City have bought their way out of the sanction, that is something which is not new to us City fans as we have heard it all before.

However, should the CAS devision exonerate our Club and owners it will be very interesting to see what the media report and what tone their articles have.

Should we be cleared, City will need to be stronger against those that want to slander our name in the media.

Whether we then start to play hardball against certain clubs that have tried to damage us in all this saga will remain to be seen.

Fingers crossed now for Monday morning, we will all be trying to log onto the CAS website at the exact time along with those that want to the decision to go against us.

Sinclair tweeted the exact same word.

Is he not a match day ambassador in corporate for us these days?

Tbh.. I watched it live and there was practically nobody there. All the clubs reps were on zoom and it looked like there were about 5 people in the audience who presumably were UEFA people or part of the tv crew
