Manuel Pellegrini is back in work next season

Manager of the year should always go to whoever finishes top ?
No. But it was his first season in England and won a double. The award went to Brendan Rogers for taking Liverpool to 2nd.
The following year Jose returned to Chelsea, won the same double and won MOTY.

And don't get me started on 2012 when Mancini was pipped by Alan Pardew in getting 5th with Newcastle!

The manager of the year award that actually matters didn't go to Rodgers that season so you know...

It went to Pulis.

Pellegrini was a gent and professional, he took serious abuse and got total disrespect from the media. Rogers was hailed MOTY all season until the last two months....... then it went to Pardew or Pulis instead. He done a great job here and our attacking football was a joy to watch, I believe for everyone except begrudgers. I will always wish him well, he proved his CLASS.

Got some dogs abuse on here but I hope he does really well at Betis.

His teams play good football when he has the correct type of players .

Oooooooooh Betis ......

Sorry but I don’t, would have been relegated already with him in charge- one of the worst managers we’ve had, zero passion, awful tactical decisions and a nice 12 million in the bank for his efforts.
It's not his fault you are shit and your owners can't appoint the right manager to get the best out of your average players.

Allardyce did alright.

6 of one, and half a dozen of the other. Average players and an average manager overall.

they appointed the right manager now. Moyes has got us playing well, results not been great , but his instilled a lot of work rate and Organization and will keep us up. Pellegrini would have relegated us.
Here’s hoping they stick with Moyes this time round.

Pellegrini wouldn't have relegated yous there is such a thing as "players down tools" it wasn't all his fault for bad results, but he would have kept you up.

he wouldn’t.

he didn’t give a fuck.

Kept the worst goalie in history in goal.

was tactically shit

and just sat there staring into space.

shit manager for us.

David Moyes has been far far better.
