The cheeky little smile the glint in the eye, sometimes words are not needed
Looks like he's just smoked a fat one

Those officials that are in the board's of UEFA who judged our case way back in February. Of this I have know doubt that those officials are firmly supporting the so called big 12 clubs of European football.

This so called big 12 clubs can break FFP for years and be proven to do so. These judges would still find them not guilty.

We need all the board's of UEFA to be swept clean and new members to be appointed to them. Hopefully we may find some board members who will support Manchester City instead of those other clubs who have our club.

It’s more than likely the agreement to delay the announcement was made before we had confirmation of the result, so we wouldn’t have known at that point.

But we know the Club are very confident following the hearing, so you’re absolutely right that we would have made that decision from a position of confidence - and may not have done if we felt differently.

Doesn’t mean that confidence was rightly placed though, so really all we can read from the delay is the Club’s feeling following the hearing - which we already knew.

If that is the case and we go on to lose on Monday then heads should role at whoever sanctioned that decision.
The twats conveniently forget they have the biggest wage bill in English football and that they've spent the GDP of a small country on transfers. Deluded ****s.

They were spot on about the rationale behind FFP and that we should have challenged it rather than aiming to comply. The rest was utter shite.

The only players at the club who will be on ‘unreasonable’ contracts would be Sterling, KDB, Kun and possibly Laporte. Somehow I don’t think we have any issue shifting those players if the doom scenario happened.

couple of edits to your post here
How would CAS work though? They're an arbitration service, not a court, so surely there's some measure of interaction between the parties during the proceedings. Is it entirely out of the question that the CAS panel could have said to UEFA's team "Look lads, this position of yours is a bit silly".

There is of course the possibility that CAS rule against us and we then pursue uefa through the Swiss courts. This could take years during which time the CL ban would probably be suspended pending outcome - hence confidence that we will be playing CL next year and players staying. A shitty outcome really, but that's why I voted 'other'

Would it? I thought Projectriver had said that would be unlikely?

Always useful to get a foreign language post on Bluemoon! Can you translate.....?
“By the way, I remember something we have been counting for several days in @tjcope . On Monday morning (around 10:30 am) the TAS publishes its decision on the dispute between UEFA and City. At UEFA they think they will agree, which would confirm the 2-year penalty for City.”
