Ive been told Huw Edwards was driven into Media City late last night. He'd been briefed on his phone
that he needed to record an obituary. He was rushed straight thru to wardrobe and makeup where he
was dressed in dark suit and black tie. He began to practise some of his stock phrases and his voice
inflection, so he could be sure he'd acccurately convey the sombre mood of the whole nation, at this
most difficult of times. As he was led to recording studio he became aware of some noise emanating
from an adjacent studio. He briefly looked inside & was surprised to see a camera crew and reporters
with music, streamers & balloons, all drinking champagne. Typically the professional, Huw distanced
himself from this and sat behind his studio desk for the autocue to roll. Whilst awaiting this, he asked
the Floor Manager, whats going on next door? To which, the Floor Manager replied, "Oh don't concern
yourself with that.Thats just Dan Roan & Silly Sally prerecording 9.35am sports news for tomorrow on
CAS rubber stamping UEFA decision to ban Man City from CL Football for x2 years" Oh! said Huw, and
whose obituary am i recording? "Noone, replied the Floor Manager, we need your recording just in case
the bastards are exonerated......

Again a common theme on this thread is attacking others. 99% hope we're totally exhonerated, but we're all within our right to question the club regardless of the decision. Far too many see this as us v UEFA. That's a a major part of it, but we have to look in the mirror at ourselves at some point. Have we been too aggressive with our strategy to get income into the club too fast? Who knows. Anyway, fingers crossed. 39 mins to go!

UEFA asked to put it back due to the draw.
Since then, the only rumours have been positive.
Even Sky Sports News didn't mention the possibility of 5th place qualification on Saturday.

Radio 5 Live are all over it... they’ve just had the live naming ceremony for the Ospreys on Loch Arkaig! None of the three was called Pep, I fear the worst!
 
Damnit I can't sleep go to sleep without knowing the results,I have a good feeling about it though, must keep eye's open, another hour then ?
 
This is it guys, barely few minutes and we will know.

If we win 100% there will consequences, Harris fools, Delaey, Castles, Pariq Tanja they will be made to eat rotten chicken meat.

If we lose or CAS find us guilty in any way, we are in for a media campaign against City we have not seen before and PL/FA will have all the ammunition to come after us.

With respect Acton UEFA don't give stuff about their reputation for if they did they would have folded many years ago.

They will move on continuing corruption that is rife with their sisterhood in the WHO and the UN.

The only way to change things for the better is to have them wind up for all time , I doubt it but hopefully COVID 19 will ensure their funding is cut off and revenue streams become obsolete.
 
I’ve not even had the heart to tell the girlfriend about today, she has no idea. Dunno how to explain it to her apart from ‘today’s the day we find out if City lied’ - makes me feel sick even saying that.
 
Amazing to think it could fuck our club up for a few years, do even more damage to our reputation, none fuckin stop rabid Journos foaming at the mouth ripping us apart ( which i guess they do anyway) for weeks and months daily, also cost us hundreds of millions.

All on a decision in 45 minutes.
