CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

After winning a comprehensive legal victory, and having endured unprecedented levels of animosity from individuals and organizations Khaldoon says "time to move on".
Despite almost everything they've said on the issue being proved false the likes of Delaney,Conn and Roan keep digging that hole they've found themselves in.
The difference between class and c.... i suppose.

Out of interest can City finally take legal action on claims like this, especially given the fact we have the ruling of an independent tribunal behind us?

Would anyone be wiling to pick me up from the Barton Aerodrome and drop me off at home?

I've had 3 corned beef barms, 2 steak bakes and a dozen bottles of stella since 8:00 this morning.

I was warned earlier about firing rockets at the control tower but that seems to be sorted now. I just think it's time to pack the tent away and wait for news on Koulibaly before I come back.

Yep, terrific job gents. I can only imagine how much work and research you all did. Hugely appreciated by everyone.

Also, well done to all those Blues who kept the faith as well, whilst, erm, some of us thought we’d lose. Thank you for your positivity throughout. I’ll have to give it a try some time.....

I refrained on this occasion from my usual "you worry too much" as I wasn't going to tempt fate but I was 99% the ban would be overturned. The club made their position very clear. When Soriano did his interview, he stuck his neck out way too far for someone who had any doubt that the facts meant that we would prevail.

Only time I got nervous was after getting up this morning, that was like waiting for exam results all those years ago: I always got what I needed but that didn't mean I wasn't bricking it every time I had to open an envelope...

I just hope now that City take what I call the no mercy approach. Our opponents across Europe deserve crushing.

Court of Arbitration for Sport finds Manchester City to be in breach of UEFA Financial Fair Play rules, but lifts European competition ban and reduces fine to €10million.

Manchester City's €10m CAS-reduced fine for breaching Financial Fair Play rules converts to slightly more than the 'Etihad direct contribution for £8m' on the day this email was sent regarding the Abu Dhabi-owned club's '£88.5m' '13/14 sponsorship fee'.

His jawdropping claim that City were still in breach of FFP is surely sufficient to get the lawyers after the bitter cunnt.

Unrivalled levels of delusion.

Yeah still a lot of goals to be ticked off yet this season:

Champions League
FA Cup
Pep to sign a new contract
100 Prem goals
As close to 169 goals in all comps as possible
de Bruyne to get 21 assists for the season
Silva to get 100 assists for City
Liverpool to miss out on 100 points
United to miss out on Top 4

Certainly, but my point was in reference to the infidels who thought they could get to CL by finishing 5th and were hoping for us to get banned. So in that sense United finishing 5th would be poetic as they are part of the same cartel.

Nick Harris is another one who still maintains City breached FFP.

Upshot: City breached FFP again (CAS finding) & didn't assist Uefa inquiry; other allegations either not proven or time-barred (technicality). 10m euro fine but no ban. More detailed explanation within a days.

If only GDM was a big claims solicitor City could get him on the case.

I love how he thinks his opinion is above that of a number of world class lawyers.

Castles is bitter towards Abu Dhabi ever since he was sacked from the UAE based newspaper "the national".

The soundbites from Tebas which are pre-scripted and solely for the purpose of placating the cartel, are pretty embarrassing to be honest.
Nobody in the media seems to be detecting the bigger picture here. I guess it is symptomatic of a world that is now based on rhetoric and propaganda rather than facts.

Opening every article I see on us being cleared, loving it, do the same blues, more clicks, more good PR for our wonderful club.

That is actually against the FFP regulations, that's the jokers get out. He's not quite as dumb as people make out.

Yeah I get that he’s playing the “well technically I’m right” but he’s being disingenuous to not drill down a level deeper, he’s purposefully leaving it where it is for a reason.
