CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

Ian Herbert continuing to spout his bile - odious man. Hope we never let him near our club again !!

I have just got around to reading what this creep has written: City have been found not in breach of regulations because they refused to cooperate with the investigation so nobody could get to the bottom of what was going on?? THIS is published in a national newspaper? I think City fans need to take stock of just how deep and violent a hatred of our club has to be prevalent, when a reporter in a leading newspaper is confident enough to come out with not just a slur against our club but a dismissal of CAS and get it headlined. Utterly appalling.

Perhaps we even conspired with him to do that ? Maybe he wasn't at those games to convince us, maybe we were convincing him to let us take it down ? It would seem a very high risk strategy that, because if we'd failed it would be a heavy loss financially.

I wondered about because he seemed to distance himself from it from the beginning. If he knew how weak the case was and knew it was a rushed hatchet job that wouldn't stand up in a court he may have been convinced that City would beat it. As you said maybe that meeting was convenient for both parties involved.
I said earlier in the thread — and to date have not seen any evidence that would refute this theory — that Ceferin likely came to broker some sort of compromise and we politely told him **** off, at which point he likely responded with something to the effect of “Well now, that seems a bit hasty, can’t we... wait... actually, now that I think about it... never mind, carry on.” At that moment it was clear to City that he had parallel, longer-term plans to our appeal and realised our work could be very useful.

I especially like the thick fucks, and I include professionals in there who really should know better, who are linking the ‘didn’t fully cooperate’ with certain issues being time bound thus suggesting that we’ve not cooperated to ‘drag it out’ thereby ensuring the time limits were breached.
This country really does need to invest in a much better education system as people seem unable to grasp concepts which are easier than simple. Unless there are suddenly a raft of job opportunities involving piss-boiling, they’re doomed....
It's all they have left to cling onto and, once the CAS report is out, hopefully there will be nothing left for them and they will all crawl back under the rocks from which they came.

On the evidence of the number of posts which clearly have not understood the CAS decision, the fucking level of media/journalism is an absolute disgrace and shambles, littered with inaccuracy, outright lies and total bias.
They're still trying to make out we're guilty when we've been exonerated on every main point.

2 meetings in fact, one at home, one away.
