The Times reported that both City & UEFA we’re informed 90 minutes before the press release.

I still don’t buy it. I tend to believe our resident experts who have said City will definitely have known for a few days prior to the release of the CAS statement.

Blue Watershed

Yesterday was a watershed moment. It proved the biased, blatant, belligerent opposition to CITY which we knew but everything has now changed. City are emboldened, our enemies are very clear and we can take action based on knowledge and facts not just alleged paranoia and gut feelings.

City are OUR club, a form of extended family and I took it personally. I now feel vindicated in so many aspects, not least my opinion of the BBC. Some of yesterday`s so called reporting was a disgrace. They were not alone.

Personally I found it was one of the best football days without a City ball being kicked since 93:20 for its impact and consequences.

The next investigation is into the UEFA Treasurer and serving Director of a club who no longer qualify for the Champions League and who are registered in the Cayman Islands.

One thing is for sure, we all feel a lot better than this time yesterday morning.

On a simple point of information post, if CAS thought it was 'inappropriate' for UEFA to ban a team for failing to 'cooperate' (a euphemism if ever there were one for supplying yer prosecutor with yer own evidence of conformity!) why did Uefa try to stick it on us?

I seem to remember from my Gorton days that the saying originates from leaving a curry house without paying. (but i could be wrong!)
The discussion would be "are we doing a runner/are we doing one?", ie a disappearing act.
The signal would then be "Do one!"
This then transformed into a saying (when you want somebody to leave/go/disappear), you would say "do one mate".

Trouble is i never had the balls to do a runner. So i always ended up paying the whole bill!

Is there anything in the CAS judgement which could open us up to punishment from the PL? Or does the fact that the CAS release say that City "did not disguise equity funding as state contributions" mean we're in the clear?
