CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

He just said “It was a bad day for football (the CAS judgement).” Also said he agrees with FFP (another tit who doesn’t understand what this was about) and also said because of the way clubs are run in Germany it would never happen there.
He also said he’s glad City won as we would walk the league if we had less games to play.
Normally don’t mind him but if you watch the interview you can see he is a bitter cûnt who actually doesn’t understand what the case was about.
Don't rise to it - he's playing to his audience.

He completely embarrassed himself to any person with a remote understanding of what the case was actually about, and what the judgement was yesterday.

I’m finding it quite amusing and predictably hypocritical that rival fans and journalists are choosing to ignore the totally clear and unambiguous headline of the judgment like it doesn’t mean anything, and are instead applying their own interpretation of the small print to say that we did it and got off with it on a technicality, whereas without a detailed explanation, those words can be interpreted in any number of ways.

It’s not like it’s a newspaper headline that can often bear little relationship to the article. It’s a legal document where every word is chosen carefully and approved by senior legal experts. If the headline of the judgment says we didn’t do it, we didn’t fucking do it. Why is it so hard for them to understand?
There are none so blind as those who will not see.

Klopp has just been interviewed on SS.

THE CHEEKY ****.

City should libel the little bastard all over the gaff.

Yes they should. His insinuation being that it was a bad day for football because City were guilty and will supposedly derive money from illegitimate sources.

I can't believe our lawyers would allow him to get away with that and forwarding the narrative.

It's an opinion - he's entitled to it, and I imagine it was fed to him by LFC media/lawyers. It's as wanky as all holding hands in front of the kop - don't ease their pain by letting it bother us.

He admitted at the end that he doesn't know the details of the case or understand it so he shouldn't be making any comment like 'it was a bad day for football'

Predictably sky now running his comments that our decision was not a good day for football as their breaking news, hello can someone in our legal.departnent give them a call!!

But he got the line in anyway? Typical Dipper, committing the offence and then distancing himself from the crime!

No one:

Absolutely no one:

Jürgen Klopp (via the ECHO):

He is absolutely right about one thing, though: FFP is certainly there to protect [certain] teams.

Why was it a bad day for football ? An innocent club was proved innocent over a bent organisation.
Yet other clubs have shirt sponsor fined over 1 billion quid, or making up stadium improvements, or buying up houses in the area to leave derelict.....but get proved innocent and it's a bad day lol

Aye his opinion.
It'll never be as bad a day for football as may 29 1985.
Maybe the bellend can voice his opinion on that as well.
