David Silva leaves City after 10 years

It will be a sad day when David leaves. But he has made his mind up and will have his reasons

For me it’s the right time. We cannot hold Foden back any longer. And David deserves better than to stay another year and spend it as a bit part player

Huge respect for Dave and I can fully understand his decision for leaving.

Wasn’t sure at first to be honest when I first saw him, too slight for the Premier League it seemed.
Then.
Blackpool away, pardon the pun, bloody hell he’s illuminated the Premier League ever since.
Favourite game for me was Hull away, down to ten men early doors when Vinnie got sent off. David run the whole game without breaking sweat. Genius.

Rolling back the years with his recent performances, a true professional and role model. He will be leaving us at the top of his game and huge respect to him for that

Special Special player, rarely will you ever see Silva over/under hit a pass.

True genius.....Citys greatest

Its been a privilege to watch David Silva in a City shirt. A fantastic representative of the club on and off the pitch and played a huge part in our success. He deserves a good send off and hopefully that will involve some silverware!

Mad to think I was 18 during his first season with us.

Been such a long time, don’t think I’ll ever forget the man.

Such a superb man, player, club and football ambassador, truly one of the greats of the modern era, and will wish him nothing but long life, good health and happiness. My only question is why the hell has he not been POTY at least once since 2010?
