It didn’t help him 7 games ago.
We were dross and got what we deserved. That’s the top and bottom of it.
They lost their defensive midfielder and 1 CB to injury in the first 20 minutes to be fair, and then Luiz ended the game on his own.
You can't legislate for that as a coach and maybe they needed the confidence from the Liverpool win to believe they could get a result against us.
There's a very good chance Arteta goes on to become an absolutely brilliant manager and we'll look back at this and think it was an early statement win - especially if they go on to win the cup.
But until he does/doesn't do that we won't know.
True. For some reason this season you know by the first 10-15 minutes whether its 'going to be one of those days' with City. When we dominated the early stages and not score you sit thinking 'we are getting beat tonight'.We should have been 2 up before Arsenal strung 2 passes together
They played well, but it could have been so much different... they rode their luck
