We need plenty of legs against Real and in Walker, Laporte and Mendy we've got decent pace at the back. Fern and Rodri should be able to protect Garcia enough. Foden, KDB and Sterling should be able to give Real something to think about on the counter and Jesus will put in a good shift against their backline.

Why not play the team that beat them in first game with cancelo in for Mendy. They need to win so we don't have to be so gung ho and get caught out at the back. Counter attack is our best option.

Similar set up to the first leg, with fernandinho at centre back and laporte on the left instead of the suspended mendy (we know he can do a defensive job there), Foden in for Gundogan and Sterling in for Mahrez. Soak up pressure and try to hit them on the break. Otamendi over Stones purely for his experience playing against Real and in particular Benzema in the past. Garcia is not ready for this game IMO.

I know people will say mad that I put Fernan on LB but i believe he will do a better job their than either Cancelo or Zinch. And if he struggles early on then he can swap positions with Laporte and play as CB.

Reals two best players have been Benzema and Ramos. Ramos is out which is a big bonus so they will Eder Militao with Varane. If Gaby can constantly press Eder and targets him than i think there is a chance there. Their midfield is slow with Kroos and Modric so we can match them in tempo. Caseiro will stick to kdb so it will be interesting if he drops into gundo position and let gundo venture forward to confuse casemiro. Walker will match hazard and vucinious jnr for pace and i believe Ota will do well against la liga side so will Rodrigo. Bernie has to summon the spirits of last season and sterling needs to be on his A game as well as I will back him against Carvajal. Just beed to avoid defeat and if he show up we might win it.
 
Get the whole squad in and fucking bollock them rigid for losing to arsenal. Last 11 to start crying start against Madrid. ****s.
 
Fuck knows and fuck knows what pep will do. Hopefully the plan won't be to invite them onto us and take our chances by hoping they don't take theirs. We've got the pace to hit them on the break and will have the best player on the pitch in de bruyne to not only feed the forwards but to stamp our own mark on the game. Hopefully no crazy ideas like keeping our best players on the bench til the 89th minute (spurs away). Big test
 
I would just kick the dressing room door open point at the first 11 I see like 1 you 2 you ... and so on then spend the next hour screening JUST FUCKiNG WIN at them.
