City’s Legal and Media/PR Teams

It's high time especially after the CAS result that the big wigs of the Premier League started supporting us, especially from the vicious, idiotic and racist blasts from Senior Tebas.
The dubious finances of the top two Spanish clubs should be questioned from the Premier League and Manchester City as a member should be helped and protected.

I grow more and more pissed off with our club as each day goes by and this is why...

Any other business or walk of life and these sort of ****s would have been dragged through the courts already yet with football, its a case of anything goes and the odd "it isn't true...we vehemently deny" press releases we see, we clearly dont do anything of note to finally make them take note and stop their shit. I hear we send cease and desist letters regularly but what fucking goo are they doing as within hours, some other **** has run with the same shite?

Are we serious about clearing our name and putting a stop to the lies or are we now just happy to be in the same fucking bed as the rest of the greedy twats at UEFA's top table and will say nothing to upset that?

I think the short answer to that question is - No.

The club isn't going to take people to court over defamation and get waded down in a legal process which we'll likely lose and reap bad publicity from.

This column follows a stint on TalkSport that was supposed to have gotten our lawyers attention 10 days ago.

I imagine people like Simon Jordan have a collection of cease and desist letters framed on the wall at home and know nothing will follow them.

There's seemingly not much they can do, but I assume if they ever get the opportunity for a quick and decisive win, they'll take it.

How would we lose when CAS have said we didnt do it yet these people feel they can then still claim we are guilty and cheats?

The truth always outs. After a turbulent period of judgment and condemnation, Manchester City have been exonerated, nay vindicated by the Court of Arbitration for Sport of all charges of deceit and breaches of Financial Fair Play.

Believe that and you will subscribe to the theory that the moon is made of cheese and the much fabled 'football family' is a delightful, cohesive unit.

City overcame Uefa's punishment by a combination of time-barred exclusions and seemingly an inability to prove the deceit that Europe's administrative body for football relied on so heavily in their original judgment.

When it comes to FFP, this club has form. They were found guilty of breaches in 2013 and sanctioned.

In 2019 they were sanctioned by FIFA for their recruitment of minors.

Jordan then tries to balance up the bollocks with City investing in the area and a pop at the ECA.

CAS found us guilty of breaking FFP. That is an indisputable fact, we broke article 56 and got a big fine, so the CAS judgement isn't going to stop anyone saying we're guilty.

"Recruitment of minors" makes us sound like a nonce!

He should be sued for that alone!

What did he say that was not true? Sure it is selective, and doesn't give the whole story (and shitely written), but everything in there is true, although the bit about UEFA not proving deceit wasn't in the short award.

Read that again..."an inability to prove the deceit"..

In other words, no evidence that we had committed the "offence" for which were banned and fined and for which we have been pilloried unjustifiably for years. This tells us everything about Jordan's warped moral compass. He's a sick man and he's not alone.

Weren’t we led to believe Jordan had his wrists slapped from the club last week?
To come out the next week and write that column clearly shows the contempt he and all the others have for the club.
They’ve all wised up to the fact that any threats of suing are just empty threats.

In this instance they found us guilty?

I dont think so and past guilty verdicts have been handed down, fines paid, scrutiny applied and we have then passed and been given part of those fines back.
