Did I mention I'd been on Eggheads?
We are all familiar with the records City have taken during the Centurions and Fourmidable seasons and that City hold the record domestic game attendance outside of Wembley. That along side only team to win the League and be relegated the following season and both scoring / Conceeding 100 goals in a season etc etc.

There are other records that City hold that dont get mentioned often and maybe @Gary James can chip in / confirm or deny a few I have mentioned here.... (Not sure if some are the only time it has happened or the last time)

Oldest Premier League player John Burridge (43)

Last team to score 10 goals in a League game

Only / last game to have 3 hatrick scorers

Ken Barnes only / last player to score 3 penalties in a League game

Roy Clarke played three consecutive games in 3 different divisions (played penultimate game of 3rd Division for Cardiff, signed for City and played final game in 2nd Division and 1st game of the following season in 1st Division)

Eric Nixon only / last player to play in all 4 Divisions in the same season when on loan from City.
Southampton 1st Div
Bradford City 2nd Div
Carlisle United 3rd Div
Wolves 4th Div

Anymore?

To clarify the Ken Barnes penalty item - he's not the only one to do so. Charlie Mitten scored a hat-trick of penalties for Man Utd v Aston Villa in 1950. Barnes (1957) may be the last player to do so, though ( v Everton)

Read an old post from Gary James recently where he mentioned that City have held the highest English attendance at their own club ground since 1924 with a 74,000+ crowd and then broke our own record crowd in 1934 with the 84,569 crowd against Stoke, which still stands.

Thanks
So the rags were getting 3 penalties a game back then too?

3 pens against us...Meh!

First team to win the league title 40 years before they were founded!

Seriously we are still the only reigning top flight champions to be relegated (and were still the top scorers in the division that season).

Are we the only team to have scored and conceded 100 goals or more in the same season?

1933 was the first FA cup final were the teams walked out together as well

There is an old newsreel clip of the final and I am sure it calls our teams neighbours and rivals at the start. Must dig it out

Made up facts, or the "," is in the wrong position. We have no history, muppet.

Has any other team from Manchester ever won a major trophy?
United won the League in 1908 and then the FA Cup in 1909. Their ground at the time was at Bank Street,Clayton, Manchester.
(Where the Velodrome car park is now apparently).
They didn't move to Old Trafford until 1910. So the anwer to your question is yes,1 other team from Manchester has one a major trophy(or two).
