1. It would all be about defensive shape, pressing the right areas and defending as a unit. Also some counter attacking plays and finishing! Would also be looking to do some passing moves out from the back under a high press as we were abysmal vs. Arsenal.
2. Exactly the same as the away leg. We've got one foot in the quarters. They need to score twice without reply so I'd let them have the ball with their back 4 and ask them to try and break us down. I'd then look to press the ball when it came into midfield and play on the counter. If we had possession, I'd be looking to draw them forwards and then using Gundogan to slot the ball into the no.10 area for our attackers to turn and run at them.
3. Same team as started in Madrid, would play Cancelo at left back with Mendy suspended. The next two games will see if Pep is willing to try that out or not!
4. No. The movement of Gabby and fluidity of Bernardo, De Bruyne and Gabby in the first leg made the difference. It caused them an issue with who to track and where to position themselves. Aguero is more potent in front of goal, but Gabby has an excellent record in the CL for us and suits the competition. He gets his free kicks in the CL!
5. Same back 4 as the away leg. Benzema is strong and experienced in the CL but isn't going to run in behind very often and score that way. Otamendi is the man to use as he loves the battle with someone like Benzema.
