“Project Restart Table” Final Top Ten

Thats it in a nutshell mate.

The ****s that play in red up and down the east lancs will always get looked after, we just have to accept it unfortunately.

No other two teams get the luck, the decisions, the penalties, shit keepers on opposing teams, etc... as these get, it's as plain as day yet it gets overlooked and brushed under the carpet yet we get shite thrown at us at every given opportunity, our name dragged through courts for trying to play it the honest way and our achievements are somehow reported as tarnished by the pricks in the press.

Fuck them.
Agree with all of this.

Just have to see JFE and Schmeichel’s performances against United to see what we mean.

As I said, Project Restart should be renamed Project Save United.

Leicester not making the top four is crazy. The were absolutely shocking after the restart... two wins, three draws, four losses.

They weren’t that good in January February either , wasn’t just after the restart they blew it.

They are battling with Brentford to see who can lose the most money by bottling it. Brentford could still maybe turn it round but I doubt it.

Their loss at Bournemouth was awful. Not only that they then lost their CB for the last 3 games.

Always regarded the 'restart' as a plastic pre-season mini-tournament so not going to get too excited.
I still do.

This hasn’t been real football. Just an opportunity to ensure clubs get their Tv revenue and to keep players fit.

But it failed miserably with ****s congregating twice for Liverpool celebrations and once in Leeds. EXACTLY the reason why the season should have been abandoned.

You could also look at it, that we'll lose less match fitness than other teams.
Yeah, I’ve been thinking that too.

The players have just come off a three-month break, when they were able to recharge their batteries and now they’re flying.

A short interlude to prepare for the Réal Madrid game, then after the Champions' League, however far we get, they should still be in pretty good shape for the new PL season.

@SebastianBlue
That’s very interesting and great analysis. Even if we disregard the Arsenal result, we still finish top, albeit on goal difference. It’s very encouraged for what lies ahead.

You're forgetting that the champions* had nothing to play for, if they had it would have been 9 wins out of 9 obviously.

I actually think it should have been abandoned, as well. But it wasn’t and this thread isn’t meant to be another discussion about that.

I completely understand not caring about it, as that’s a fair stance, but not sure this is the thread to discuss unhappiness with the restart happening at all.

Cheers.

I think the biggest determinate for next season will be if we see the same officiating, VAR, opposition performance... err, discrepancies... predominately favouring Liverpool and/or United (or another team... like Spurs or Arsenal).

We could reduce our aberrational performances substantially and still miss out if another team is again being driven on to win the title.

We don’t have long before we find out.

I’m waiting for a panorama exclusive on the pigmol and fa with regards to their shady dealings. A fantasy but one can only dream.

Panarama?
Aren’t they a BBC production?

Too many rag and dipper rats, infesting the corridors of that said establishment!
