Yeah he looks like it was due to be released in September. The album has a cover of True Faith and also Well I Wonder by The Smiths from Meat is Murder. I’m absolutely stunned and you could tell she had a lot of love for City and was in bits when Vinnie announced he was leaving.

I remember seeing ACR at Brudenell Social Club in Leeds in 2009 and Denise got dropped off in a battered old Clio. Very talented but also very humble.

Dreadful news, brilliant singer and by all accounts a lovely person to booth.

Pre Covid I watched a great documentary "The Memphis Sessions" about Primal Scream, worth a watch and she came across really well in it.

The last line in the family statement yesterday said "Denise would have liked it recorded that she was a Manchester City fan"

It is quite telling that after all the artist she played with, all the songs she contributed to, it was her love of City that she thought defined her. A true blue.
