Maybe I'm over-reacting but with the way journalists have been allowed to write their headlines/articles today, completely disregarding the overwhelming findings by CAS in favour of painting City in a bad light yet again... I think our media/pr department isn't fit for purpose.

Having a quiet word with journalists to slightly change a headline really isn't working.

Or they're letting them hang themselves, and will then pursue those that over step ?

Would it really be worth the risk given that the sanction could potentially be increased if we were unsuccessful? We've won the case, the whole affair is merely a footnote in our history now. Time to wipe our mouths and move on.

The Swiss Courts won't change the CAS verdict on the financial stuff. We'd be appealing against the other charges we were fined €10m over.

I cannot see the PL, even with the clubs of the H9 driving a bulldozer and steam roller apiece, would contemplate any action. There was no breach of Uefa FFP rules so what do the PL, bar redrafting their own regulations, have that Uefa couldn't get to stick.

Above and beyond the normal end of season report and a detailed explanation of the CAS report I expect him to send out a powerful message to the media. It is well overdue.

BBC Look northwest just did a brief feature on it where they led with the 'blatant disregard' angle, then went on to say the ban had been overturned.

To have that angle from our local news is a disgrace.

So, even though the evidence and charge have been proven, without doubt, to be contrived, the British media are still casting us as the guilty party.

Guilty as charged, M'lud, but interesting that CAS CAStigates Uefa for leaking information, which I understand was the sole reason for not tippling over any 'stuff', that would have found it's way into The New York Times quicker than yer'd have found it in the Rochdale Observer!

I love and also hate how a lot of the media is still trying their hardest to be as negative as possible. FailIng to corporate with UEFA is hardly the crime of the century. Lets put it this way, which is worst: failing to co-operate or Liverpool hacking our scouting system? Not a word mentioned about that since it came out.

Also not a word mentioned about the hacked e-mails being 'amended' (to put it kindly) at all. It's just becoming pathetic now. The ruling is all there in black and white, clear as crystal and they still choose to ignore that and focus on small negatives.

The Guardian went all-in with their partners, the Bayern mouthpiece Der Spiegel. Their coverage from day one has been shameful and a disgrace to the Reithian principles of fair, accurate, balanced and unbiased reporting.
One of the hardest things in life is to accept you have been conned (coincidence that word eh), that you have been taken as a gullible rube. The fact that 6 of 5.5million emails hacked by a criminal extortionist were doctored and/or deliberately taken out of context is not mentioned anywhere.
I can’t recall Conn going into a forensic analysis of the finances at FC Tribute Act when his new best mate Walsh and acolytes were exposed as being up to all sorts. Bags of cash under the bed etc. In fact this hypocritical shithouse Conn went AWOL and never wrote a word about them again.
The flailing tonight from the usual suspects to find any possible negative crumbs in a 93-page judgement which proved the UEFA process was unjustified from the outset is as depressing as it is predictable.
They are like bar stool bullies demanding the police turn up to arrest the quiet bloke sat minding his own business in the corner who put them on their arse and broke their nose when they made the mistake of starting on him.
