One of Gundo or Bernardo.

Cancelo if we get good money, Stones, Otto, Zinchenko.

I'd only let Gundo go if it meant getting Thiago. They're similar players but in terms of attributes Gundo is a mix of 7s & 8's whereas Thiago is a mix of 8's & 9's.
If Thiago ends up at LFC it's gonna be one hell of an ask to take back the title next year. With Silva gone I'm quite concerned about us losing our total control in midfield, with Silva not being the player he was (and often not in the XI) we've already seen periods like that this season against decent opposition. We don't have the most efficient forwards and without Sane our number of tap ins has decreased so possession is so important

I don’t thin Thiago to Livarpool would be as good as some think.Defensively Thiago is not close to their current midfield so what he would add in possession, they would lose in pressing. Leaving Van Dijk and co more often exposed.

cant see Gundogan leaving - Pep likes him too much

Hope Bernardo doesnt leave - lots more to come from him and he could be one of the best.....Fuck Barca and their arrogant ways - we dont have to be a selling club and with quite a lot of years on his contract they cant afford him

Cancello is worth sticking with - he has shown he can be a good asset to the team - just needs to get his head fully into it.

Ota and Zinchenko I agree with.Ota has been. a decent servant to the club but has stayed a couple of years too long. Zinchenko is a decent player but we have better in his natural position - he would do better abroad as well

Agree re Gundo and Bernardo.

But the latter is a worry. As posters have stated he had played non stop football for 2 seasons and looked jaded this season but even after the covid break he still does not look the player of the 4midable season.

No he doesnt I agree but players go through this a times. What you have to focus on is the ability we know he has and that is exceptional. He is still a young player as well which people seem to forget at times.

Gundo isn't leaving, he might have entertained it if the ban had stood, as per his recent comments.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say we are signing Latauro Martinez, one of Aouar or Grealish, and Diego Carlos.

I'd have thought we'd have seen some public Martinez links by now if we were negotiating. These things usually are out in the open when its such a high profile transfer.

Aouar and Diego Carlos i would be pleased with. But please no Lautaro Martinez! We'll be looking for a new striker in 1-2 years time if that happens.

Possibly, I know Txiki met both the player and his agent at The Emirates stadium back in December.

His £107m buyout clause was only applicable the first two weeks in July and it seemed nailed on Barcelona had won the race.

Perhaps that deal hasn't advanced due to the costs involved, which would maybe explain some of the talk within the CFG that we have boxed off a big deal for a forward.

I think there is making enquiries and buying on the cheap or bumping the price for others if you can and then there is going balls deep for a player you really need.

I dont see us going balls deep for any of the above.

Edit: I see us going balls deep for a striker next summer and that is why we will be reluctant to take a chance now.
