I think he had a personal family tragedy when he was with usHe seemed to suffer from a lack of confidence when he was at City. One mistake and his game fell apart.

Can’t believe that we haven’t been sniffing around Upamecano of Liepzig. Looks a fantastic defender imo
Don't they always play like this.Atletico do realize this is a knock out tie and not two legs right?
Why are they so defensive?
Upamecano looking very good. Comfortable on the ball and always looking to play.
It's the modus operandi. Keep it as tight as a gnats chuff, maybe nick a goal or take it to pens. They don't concede many so this could be 0-0 after ETAtletico do realize this is a knock out tie and not two legs right?

Do they run anyone over, or do they just do exactly this ?
It's what they do. That night at Anfield, when they scored 3, was an abberation.Atletico do realize this is a knock out tie and not two legs right?

I’m not sure I understand the question.
As in, they play like this, without running anyone over, then win.
Atletico are basically Burnley but with more exotic surnames.
Upamecano.......although he hasn’t had a lot to do........what he has done ......he has done well. Seems to have a good range of passes.....with both feet. Composed, confident........well impressed so far.

Best line I've read on BM so far this year
Can imagine our ongoing negotiation for Koulibaly with ADL & then us lot watching Upamecano tonight & immediately putting the phone down.
Upamecano has always impressed me whenever i’ve seen him play in the European games but not seen him domestically.
Probably more of the asset test would be up against Neymar & Mbappe before anyone starts bidding the big bucks for him.
