This is not a great side being torn apart by an unstoppable side.

It's a good side eviscerating a shockingly bad side. Relegated Bundesliga sides have defended them better.

Our defence has been the best in the country since Laporte came back, and we're miles better than Barcelona.

If we beat lyon, we have a great chance to beat Bayern.

I would definitely not trust Mendy against Bayern, sad to say. I think Cancelo is our best bet at LB this tournament.

If that’s the case then it’s Walker, and Cancelo at FB with Dinho and Laporte at CB.

We don't need to fear Bayern. They're playing a type of game that fits perfectly to play against Barcelona - high line and high press. Barca has NO pace and can't take advantage of that - if they play like this against us (which I don't believe they will, if we do make it to the semi finals) we'd be able to take huge advantage of that.

I’m not sure why Bayern are playing so good. Flick is hardly a world class coach. I think they’re still sticking to some of Peps tactical ideas and they are also vacuumcleaning the entire Bundesliga for the best talent so I guess it’s not that hard for them to put together a top team.
