FodenPep bottled it. Also we've two big game players in this team - Aguero and Kev. Everyone else is world class when the going's good, but wank when it gets tough.

1st and foremost - the original team selection. Playing a midfield 3 of Gundogan and Rodri and Ferna - we are one of the most creative sides in world football normally and Pep has a brain fart and decides to reomve all of it. 2 of them 3 together is bad enough but all 3 is shocking and it showed with zero attempts on target in the first half - we created nothing unsuprisingly.
The set up also nullified Kev - i can understand wanting him closer to goal but he had no supply due to the 3 midfieders beihind him....when we changed it its no surpise that he started to have an influence.
Sorry but I'm utterly confused, you're contradicting your own post and it wasn't just a typo because you said it four separate times. Doesn't matter.NO i dont think he was playing in midfield but as part of a central group of players he was very very poor and par tof the slow tempo of our play
Rodri and Gubdogan pairing has been talked about before as well - its not a good paring - we only need one of them andfor me it should be rodri if it has to be one fo them
In midfield. I couldnt believe my eyes. If ever a game needed legs and pace and to take it to them, fuck me. He played that like an away leg with us home last. Wrong team and wank performanceCorrect me if I’m wrong but that’s the first time Fernandinho Rodri and Gundogan have all started a game together.
Every blue knows Pep f'cked it up and you don't get away with a mistake like that at this level.
Delusional. The very least you do as a football club is give everything you can as a football club to get through to a Champions League semi-final.
Barcelona were a complete joke last night but they were just a team at the end of their line. We on the other hand didn't even play our best team. This is too big a mistake to forgive. It's not about making mistakes and accepting them. You just simply can not manage a team any more because everyone knows you cost us the game. I hope City have the guts to sack him.
SterlingSo it's pep's fault Stirling put one over an empty net from 5 yards and ederson spilled a shot that could off threw my cap on.
How many times has Pep picked a bizarre team only for us to win 5-0 where we're the I told you so comments then?
Poor finishing and gifted goals are not the fault of the Manager.
Perhaps you should be cheering your daughter up, rather than updating us on BM? :PGot my thirteen year old upstairs in tears and my 19 year old out on the piss with his angry head on. Sometimes I wish we were like my 15 year old who doesn’t give a shit.
Stand tall fellow blues. Take the shit , don’t start blaming, we’re all in this together. We all want to win but when it doesn’t go our way we group up and stay stronger as one
I completely agree with this, I've said it all season. The lack of pace and width has destroyed us, Sane's injury was a bigger problem than Laporte's, even though he wanted to leave. I just hope Torres can provide the natural width we so desperately need.Whatever, we had 3 ponderous slow players at the centre of our game. It killed us. We were a bit unluckly and didn't get the breaks but if your coach make such a mistake you deserve to be completely hammered.
that simon blokes fuckin cluelessSorry but I'm utterly confused, you're contradicting your own post and it wasn't just a typo because you said it four separate times. Doesn't matter.
Sterling's world class, but he's not in the elite bracket for me. And for reference, players like Salah and Mane are in the same tier as Sterling for me. Big game players are Kun, Kev, Bale, Ramos, Ronaldo, Messi and so on. Doesn't matter if the entire team is dogshit around then, they will always turn up, especially in the biggest games. Look at Kev. His performances against mid-table sides are 9/10 but you put him against a big club and suddenly he's performing at 12/10. An elite player for me is one who is world class AND never buckles under pressure, especially in the big games.Bit harsh on Sterling I think. Yes he can bottle it at times but he can also be a genuine matchwinner at times.
Generally agree about the rest.
