That idea is simply a set up by the press. When City don't win the CL, they then report that Pep has failed to deliver what he was brought for and question his credentials. If we do win it, then its reported as buying the cup with a billion.It's telling how he reiterated the Premier League being the priority. I suspect that might put the idea Pep was solely brought in for the Champions League on the back burners for a while.
I have never heard the owner or anybody that represents him say that the CL is why we have Pep.

The infinite patience with our double-dealing and crooked enemies amazes me. At one level it's admirable. I'm reminded of parents who forgive the murderer of their child. You look at someone like that, and realise you could never be that good.
OTOH it's a bit of a blow for vindictive ****s like me, who would like to see a pound of flesh. I was not cut out to be a saint.

He will continue with the line about the club not criticising how other clubs are run but then list names of clubs employees/former employees and "Sports Journalists", and Mike Reilly that will have been served papers for slander and defamation of character on the day it's released.

The kind of interview that we have come to expect from KAM.
He went as close to admitting that we are buying at least one older player as you could hope for.
He did seem very relaxed so I hope that means he knows we are going to spend what we need this summer to come roaring back. He's no mug and he can see what the team needs to knock Liverpool and Bayern off their current perches.

Being that confident is part of how you get to be such an important figure in AD. Being that important and having accesses to the resources he does is only going to make you even more confident.

Messi is coming in a Scott Carson non playing role to really boil piss and turn Raz into the greatest English player ever.
