Don't insult legends and players who have busted their guts for this club and compare them with John Stones. He isn't a club legend but he has played his part. I still have some respect for the player (despite what he has done in his private life)

and why do you have such disdain for him? because he looks a bit scruffy and he's had a few injuries?Don't insult legends and players who have busted their guts for this club and compare them with John Stones.
John Stones has destroyed a wonderful opportunity with us, very sad, such a talent as said before, but very much self inflicted. He has still played his part.

We would move Tosin as well. He needs more games than Stones does
Stones needs games to get his career back on track. Getting 1000 minutes in his prime for the foreseeable future when he’s already lost his place in the England squad is a nail in the coffin.
Tosin can easily afford a season like that when he’s learning and developing as a 22 year old ball playing CB under Pep. He may well force himself into contention and even if he doesn’t it’s only going to up his profile as a player and plenty will be interested in him and the club will benefit from it from a monetary perspective.
Better off for now keeping Stones (if teams aren't willing to mach our fee) rather than stalling a younger player's career who chances aren't that great either at City.
Agree to disagree mate, I personally think it’s an absolute waste if Stones is here come the start of the season.
Mate this geezer has a disdain for stones, pep, us signing Messi, the weather, you name it this lad has an argument for it and he's becoming a bit prickly now, he's either on the wind up or Victor Meldrews dippy brother.and why do you have such disdain for him? because he looks a bit scruffy and he's had a few injuries?
I may be in the minority here, but I hope Stones stays another season. If he can put his issues behind him then he could regain his form from when he first signed for the club. No one will pay what he is worth. I say let him be KK,sDoes it suggest Arteta knows he is soon to be surplus to requirements - IE we are signing someone for CB
He is the only poster I have on ignore at the moment. Opinionated much!?Mate this geezer has a disdain for stones, pep, us signing Messi, the weather, you name it this lad has an argument for it and he's becoming a bit prickly now, he's either on the wind up or Victor Meldrews dippy brother.
Be so disappointing if Stones leaves. Such a talented player. Maybe some here know where his issues lie, but this lad could be world class footballer, we’ve seen more than glimpses.
I'm not convinced there is a decent footballer in there but until he sorts himself out physically and mentally, we will never know.Lots of posters jumping to criticise Stones, IMO under different management Stones could well become very decent again. I am not sure if there's some issue that's not been publicised or if we're just trying to raise money in case Messi or another high value target becomes available and Stones is considered expendable, personally I would like us to persevere, like Arteta did with Luis. There is a good defender in there, as I posted earlier VK picked him in his All time City line up and you would think he knows a thing or two about decent centre back play.
Regular game time, (on loan?), would probably help him physically and mentally?I'm not convinced there is a decent footballer in there but until he sorts himself out physically and mentally, we will never know.
