Actually I thought it improbable that we would win a major trophy. What a time to be a city fan..I am actually considering the possibility of the greatest ever player in world football at city. Never thought I’d say that.. mind you 15 years ago I thought it impossible for us to be premier champions

I know why you would say that but still.. the greatest ever and still utterly incredibleA couple of seasons back I would be more excited.
Same here. I hated April/May fixtures if it was a bit too close for comfort.15 bloody years ago I was dreaming about staying in the top flight for an extended stay !

Pep and Koeman have already spoken.
They are very close and former room mates from their days at Barca.
I think Koeman has been shocked to learn how bad the situation is with Messi and the board.
In a team falling apart he scored more than Aguero with more assists than KDB , if that’s him with his legs gone it’ll do meI must be alone in this but, should it happen, the Messi deal would worry me. I just don't think he can cut it anymore. To me it looks like his legs have gone and I think he'd flop now in the Premier League. Maybe he'd get a 2nd wind coming to us but equally it could be a very expensive mistake.
Come to think of it I'm not overly excited at the prospect of Koulibaly either but I appreciate we need someone back there to lead as we've no leaders left in defence.
His legs have gone as the weight of carrying Barcelona on his own has finally crushed him. He's remarkably fit for a 33 year old and it's not like his game is box to box.I must be alone in this but, should it happen, the Messi deal would worry me. I just don't think he can cut it anymore. The Napoli game shows Messi is still far from being finished. Single handedly ripped apart Napoli and dribbled past defenders like it was nothing still. Don’t think his legs are near gone, and definitely wouldn’t flop.I must be alone in this but, should it happen, the Messi deal would worry me. I just don't think he can cut it anymore. With respect, we currently have £470m sat in the CFG coffers for something just like this.
As I've said, Messi needs to be taken in isolation for obvious financial reasons and complexities.
He may not even cost us much of a transfer fee if certain players are also included in the equation.
Removing the wages or Vinny, Silva, Bravo and Sane has clawed back the best part of £600k a week so far.
You only have to listen to Khaldoon's interview this evening to see City have exceptions to the desired profile we will also be bringing in.
Mate, don't worry about money, if he's available we get him then we enjoy watching probably the greatest ever footballer play for us. Don't worry about what rival fans/clubs/the media say either as they're all cunts.I must be alone in this but, should it happen, the Messi deal would worry me.
