I just think as fans, we can sometimes lose sight of what we have achieved so far. The media built Pep up that he had to win the CL with City, just so they could knock him down hard when he didn't. The media manipulate the average football fan to thinking that Pep is a failure and City as a club have failed. They are basically trying to chase Pep out of town and unsettle the team.

We have come such a long way and we shouldn't let the media focus on the negatives because the positives far outweigh them.

We have seen things we never thought we would ever witness. I never once thought in my lifetime that we would win the premier league. We did it in the most improbable circumstances, against our derby rivals who have taunted us for years.

Yes, i can have a moan sometimes, but times like this... when our name is linked to the likes of Messi, you have to take a step back and think... is this really my club?

We have come such a long way and the journey we have been on as fans has been nothing short of incredible. The home games, the brilliant away days out all over the country and abroad, memories that we cherish forever.

The sports journalists must so frustrated by the way the City project is being run. No backhanders, no snitchers, no alcoholic ex players trying to do interviews, simply a professional, truly businesslike outfit that they can’t penetrate until decisions are announced by the club first!! Isn’t it great to be a City fan.
 
I have not been able to sleep for two days. I've been to YouTube several times to see Messi videos and I just closed it in the middle. Not that I didn't enjoy it, I'm just scared of a heartbreak. Messi, the best player in the history of this game is close to joining Manchester City? I'm sure dreaming. Do not want to develop too many expectations because if Messi does u turn it will hurt. It will hurt a lot.

Not doubting you, but that experience is far different to mine regarding the availability of tickets.

I've managed to get tickets twice to games that i wanted to attend (either due to the date or quality of opposition) in the last 3 years. All other times the game had been sold out.
 
If we do get him by how much will season and match day tickets increase?

It could be the end for so many local Mancs.

Messi is only doing this to get the president out of the club, once that happens he will sign a new deal with Barca because we all know the script. The only thing that really surprises me is how many people actually believe he'd leave Barca to come here or anywhere else. Sheeple following the mainstream media once again you're all being played.

Suarez was told by phone that Barca were terminating his contract. See also Busquets and Alba. Messi submitted his request to leave after meeting with Koeman. They might say one thing in public about Messi being the centre-piece of the team but I think Messi no longer feels valued by the club and knows that his next 1-2 seasons are going to be very difficult at Barca.
