What’s the current thoughts on likelihood of this going through? I’ve went from definitely no chance to a bit of a chance to definitely signing back to a bit of a chance.

It might not be so bad if these You Tubers and unknown Spanish hacks didn’t come out with conflicting reports every half hour.

That Hagrid fella must be hearing the question “Reliable?” in his sleep.

50/50 but if Barca hold him for a season, City will get messi on a free and Barca will end up in bigger trouble than they are now.

Maybe, maybe not. You could argue that June was assumed to be the end of the season and it had moved out, maybe his camp thought that would fly.

I'd say 70/30 he stays, we would be nuts to pay such for a 33 year old, Messi or not, unless sponsors cover it. I'd say to them what they said to us about Garcia. Accept our derisory offer now or we get him at the end of the season on a free.

Probably too much going on to be able to second guess it tbf. If he stays until the end of the season will new President be able to convince him to stay? Will Pep sign up for another couple of years or will he go back to Barca? Do they actually want to keep him or are they trying to hard ball us?

If it comes down to it, it would be worth the £100 million IMO as not only would we be getting Messi but we would also be getting Serge and Pep as well. With the Etihad deal up as well, it would put us in a great negotiating position for a new shirt sponsorship deal.
