Your opinion, Pep and the Spanish national team disagree. He's shit, Sané isn't ?
Just a thought.

Oh of course he gets it wrong, every fucker on the planet makes mistakes but to say there's no thought process behind the mistakes is simply ignorant.

He was the only one fighting to get back for Lyon's first goal, if I remember correctly. You said that. Not me.
I said Garcia doesn't have to 'fight' for his place.
He never has particularly fought for anything in a City shirt.

Sane was older, had won a lot and contributed to our best season ever , we sold him so he didnt go for free , at no time did he say i have told city no but i hope to stay here and thus go on a freeWhy is Garcia any different to Sane? I remember you defending Sane quite vehemently, so I'm quite surprised by your stance on Garcia. Unless I've missed something, I don't understand how your thoughts have changed.
Garcia is under contract, he's happy to fulfil his contractual obligations. At that stage he's done what we signed him to do and if he wants to walk away at that stage, he's free to do so (tribunal aside).
Like I said selling him would be the best option for City but if like Sane, Garcia has his heart set on returning to his home, in this case Barcelona, then that's where he'll end up. You can't force the lad to leave and you can't force Barcelona to stump up the transfer fee we want, Garcia holds all the cards unfortunately.

Again your opinion, I disagree. Personally I think he earned his place in the starting line-up against Lyon, as the other options at CB were Stones and Otamendi. With the benefits of hindsight, we would have just gone with our usual 433 with Fernandinho and Laporte at the back, before you bemoan that point too.He was the nearest one to it, after helping cause it by playing offside, whilst looking at the back of his fullback. Then was in perfect position to rescue the 2nd, but instead charged forward to play offside, in his own half.
I suppose both were a kind of game reading genius where he saw things others don't see.
Even if Garcia ends up as the greatest cb of all time, he has no right to be snywhere near our team on merit & imo is there because of his Barca background & his agent.
I hope he fucks off back there soon as.
He has a lot to learn, he is young , he should bear that all in mind before feeling entitled to getting his own way and cost us a fucking fortuneWell if he's not shit at cb, neither was Kolarov put it that way.
To be fair Garcia hasn't said he hopes to go on a free, certainly not that I've seen anyway. He's said he's happy to fulfil his contractual obligations by staying for another year, as well as informing the club that he will not sign a new deal. If Barcelona had the money, I don't think he'd necessarily stay out of spite just to go on a free. I think you've taken what he said entirely out of context, unless like I said you've seen a quote which I missed.Sane was older, had won a lot and contributed to our best season ever , we sold him so he didnt go for free , at no time did he say i have told city no but i hope to stay here and thus go on a free

Yes, tbh.
Managers are not part of the team.

Possession is the best form of defence, a large proportion of the goals we've conceded have come from losing possession in dangerous central areas. Now personally I think there's better ways to mitigate that issue than playing Garcia and Gundogan but there's certainly logic behind Pep's tactical decisions to play the more technically gifted players in the current predicament. Whether you agree or not, is all about opinion, so we'll have to agree to disagree on this one.For all the valid criticism of Stones & Otamendi, both suffering from a dose of the shits, are better at defending than Garcia, on the ground & in the air. But Pep decided not to play them for a month in advance. Fern is past it, but still better than Garcia, but he barely played either.
He picked out a player, to pass the ball first, defend 2nd. Brought up the 'Barca way' & prime for an arse fucking by Bayern Munich.
Luckily he didn't get the chance.

Now that's definitely something we agree on.If it worked it would be great.
Unfortunately it doesn't.
It's just a question of whether we still win, by scoring more & giving away easy chances, or whether they score theirs & block ours.
