Nope.
They all knew exactly what they voted for.
They keep telling us.

In their minds this is of course true.

But there has been no vote on our new position and in truth no one actually knows what this Government is trying to achieve.

Unless people actually believe we can have all the benefits without any of the responsibilities. In which case they are in for a rude awakening .

No vote on our new position, what vote, and what new position?
And what is this truth that nobody knows what the govt is doing?
Not being flippant mate, I don't see what you're getting at.

I can only assume that many of them believe that any consequences of Brexit are acceptable as long as we have left, even if it leaves the majority of the country in economic shit and if it results in the break up of the UK union.

If that happens then come back and ask would be my suggestion, i know i will give you an answer.

In the meantime i will defend the democratic rights we are afforded and for the results of elections to be respected, no matter how much i agree or disagree with that result.

Government will be judged on brexit at the next election and me, you and everyone else will get the chance to let them know how we felt they have done and if we want them to continue or not.

Don’t worry. I will.

Don’t worry. I will.

I know and as per my post, our democratic process will continue like it always does and we will vote on the government of the day.

We might even vote of rejoining the EU at some point in the future and we can do this all over again?

Ain't democracy brill? ;-)

Can anyone explain why the EU are so concerned with us maintaining a 'level playing field'? If we take it as read that the UK will be impoverished in every respect post brexit and it will be a complete disaster, I'm not sure why the EU are so worried. I suppose it may be one last act of benevolence - throwing us a lifeline before we cut ourselves adrift.

Billionaire Brexit advocate, Jim Ratcliffe, who pledged to build a new factory in Wales after Brexit, has announced his factory will now be built in France, to save on import tariffs.

The irony would be hilarious, if this outcome weren’t the entirely predicted by remain voters - because no matter how “patriotic” Billionaires claim to be, at the end of the day, they are still billionaires, and will always choose greed. This was why brexit was never going to work. Dyson did the same, as they all will.

Yesterday Ineos oil boss, Ratcliffe drove his chunky new Grenadier 4X4 on its public debut in Britain at Hampton Court - and revealed it will now be built in France.

Mr Ratcliffe - Britain's fifth richest man - had said last summer that the the 4X4 would come with a 'Made in Britain stamp' as it would be produced at a new 'state-of-the-art' factory in South Wales. The new French factory will be accompanied by a secondary small parts factory, likely being built in Portugal. The vehicle is being engineered in Germany. No part of it will be made or designed in Britain.

This news comes as a blow to workers and families in Bridgend who were waiting for these jobs. The nearby Ford factory is also set to close this month.

Its why, despite the constant predictions of doom and gloom from some things are not quite as bad as painted out.

A UK out of the EU and with no deal to be adhered too if that's how it ends will be a very very good place to come and do business as our playing field will look quite nice and accommodating for many businesses compared to that of the EU's.

Awaits a Singapore on Thames quip........

In his (limited) defence, he does live there and own a football team there. Convenience beats patriotism every time......

Second is Foster DUP accepting the trade border in the Irish Sea, although it indicates a potential rift in Unionist thinking.

Arlene Foster says that she has given up on trying to stop a trade border in the Irish Sea and will help put that border in place. Other unionist leaders urge her to keep resisting it - even if that involves destabilising Stormont.’

Some interesting stuff...first is the Sun saying Johnson has ‘to level with us’

I'd gladly have the ability to do state aid rather than win the fishing argument. Tbh the fact that the EU seeks to control how we support UK buisness with UK money after we've left the EU is precisely the sort of thing that makes me want out.

To be honest this is so wrong on so many levels it is difficult to know where to start.

1. No deal means the WA applies which already limits State Aid provisions in the UK.

2. No deal means trade barriers and extra regulatory costs on UK businesses. This will be also true in any deal we strike. The point of the deal will be to the extent of how much we can minimise extra regulatory burden.

3. Neither the US nor the EU will accept a trade deal that allows unfair subsidies of UK businesses and at the same time grant us preferential access to their markets so that UK business can compete with their domestic industries that do not have access to the same level of subsidy.

This level of fantasy is not healthy.
