It's a reliable source, he's not travelled a first time tho, done multiple trips to negotiate as he's the only one in middle because of our policy towards ADL

Is it experience we need or quality? I'd be happy with either player but negotiating with Napoli is a nightmare and we may never agree on a fee. He's had a really good season in the CL and is now starting for France, another good year and his price doubles.

I doubt it. His price right now would be at least £100m. It won't ever get higher than that.

Playing hardball with ADL is like water off a duck's back. He doesn't give a shit. He knows we are loaded. He knows we desperately need a CB. If he wants to sell a player quickly he does so (Allan to Everton this week as an example). If we want this player we will need to pay Napoli's valuation. Don't worry he'll rinse us for the full price. I hope we never negotiate for another Napoli player ever while he is still the man in charge at that club.

Mixed views on this one. Not sure how in this market and with his age profile there can be a price tag anywhere near the 75 million reported. There has to be better, cheaper alternatives available.
