As I’m sure you know, the bookies odds reflect the betting patterns, not the reality. Wolves are full strength, having played well in their first game and are at home as well as having confidence from beating us twice last year. We are missing our first choice centre half, first choice centre forward, Bernardo and we’ve had no preseason. Having said all that, I still think we will win
 
Don't wanna sound like a flapper but me thinks we need a striker pretty pronto... theres no way on earth were going to get more than 20 games out of Sergio not a chance

Can’t say that I’m looking forward to this season. Lack of top quality signings, already missing key players, lost David Silva who is irreplaceable, main opponents making good signings etc. This is starting to feel like it’s a ‘transition’ season. I’d take a draw on Monday.

But you do ; I'm sure they'll be many to tell me how many games we've lost without him, but neglect to remember how many we've won without him. Btw I love aguero, but we've missed him quite a bit over the years. Can you imagine what his record would be like without his injuries. He is simply fucking superb. Our best buy imo.

Subs: Steffen, Mendy, Zinchenko, Garcia, Stones, Gundogan, Mahrez

Not the strongest line up and clearly shows we need to get moving in terms of signings.

Just imo but from Pep's comments today I think we might be done with signings. Seems resigned to the fact he's stuck with what he's got.

Always said we needed another quality striker and we know about our weaknesses in other areas.

Our policy of placing a price limit on every player we look to bring in has held us back in Europe and I have a feeling will prevent us from being super competitive again this season.

Disappointing we haven't bought in real quality as promised.

This season in particular you have to get off to winning start.

The first eleven is not an improvement on last season to date if anything given Kun's aging body and injuries and Ferny just about done its worse.
