Jules Koundé

You need to make your mind up who you want me to stop hating on.

Otamendi is shite. Whoever pushed for him to be on £100k+ per week into his mid thirties was stupid to do so.

Not sure how you can really argue with either of those points.

The club didn't think so

You just know we are going to be using players we wanted gone last season again this season.

And these players know we wanted them gone.

Hope i am wrong.

We already saw enough Key Stone Cop defending last season .

The people in charge at City are far from being idiots
You can't deny his wages have been a reason it has been hard to offload him. Not arguing whether he deserved a new contract or not, just that since the new contract his form has also been shite

We didn't know anything about Covid when we had given him a new deal

What about last season? It was the same issue, Valencia simply couldn't match the wages, neither could other clubs. So he ended up staying.

It was this season we had trouble in offloading him and with the lack of suitable targets we decided to give him one more go.

Did you mean Key Stones Cop defending !!

Never honestly watch him or know anything about him. I did google him and I don’t like his hair

At the time of the newdeal. During the Centurion season

And that's my point exactly. The very next season he became a squad player. Then last season he played more because of injuries and was dogshit.

That season was his first decent one and extending his contract at the age of thirty due to a one season anomaly was extremely short sighted. It was a gamble that didn't warrant being taken and his form since has proven that.

Once again, a stupid decision.

It wasn't he was rewarded just like the rest of the squad that season.

He was performing and there were no real signs of his decline.

He performed then, the club had to make a decision based on probability. It was always unlikely Otamendi would maintain that sort of form. The worst part is we essentially agreed to having absolutely no resale value on him the second he signed a deal worth 130k a week.
