Great first half but sloppy second half.

Overall a good win to start the season.

Sky were absolutely desperate for Wolves to equalise

First record in the bag. No other team has won the opening game of the season for 10 years on the bounce.

Excellent first 45, total control but took the foot off the gas 2nd half and with a decent Wolves pushing forward and the ref stepping his game up for them, they had more than a few decent chances.

Tough opening game and a great 3 points.

Did i mention how much of a twat the ref was and how obvious the game management they apply to our games when it looks like we are about to run riot and the opposition needs a leg up?

Great team performance, with the exception of two absolutely terrible individual performances. Really didn't fancy us in this one just due to fitness and sharpness issues so a huge result to get the win and the pressing performance is hugely encouraging.

Hopefully we don't see much of Stones or Mendy though as that was fucking dreadful. Neither got near a man in the second half and could easily have lost that game they gave them so much space.
