Wolves (A) Post-Match Thread

Excellent first 45, total control but took the foot off the gas 2nd half and with a decent Wolves pushing forward and the ref stepping his game up for them, they had more than a few decent chances.

Tough opening game and a great 3 points.

Did i mention how much of a twat the ref was and how obvious the game management they apply to our games when it looks like we are about to run riot and the opposition needs a leg up?
 
Great team performance, with the exception of two absolutely terrible individual performances. Really didn't fancy us in this one just due to fitness and sharpness issues so a huge result to get the win and the pressing performance is hugely encouraging.

Hopefully we don't see much of Stones or Mendy though as that was fucking dreadful. Neither got near a man in the second half and could easily have lost that game they gave them so much space.

Not the time for negative comments. That performance was as good as we could have expected to a man

Superb first half.
Second half there was always gonna be a drop off, being our first game back.
But Mendy's yellow card changed that game, he was scared to make a tackle.
Appalling referee and a twat.
Good win in the end against a good team.

Also comes down to Wolves not being clinical in front of goal. We still need to tidy up in the back but the solid first half performance got us over the line.
 
Funny what happens Pep when Fernandinho and Foden both start in midfield, please no more Gundogan even Cov Id free
