It is okay to criticise players who we think weren’t playing well surely? His lack of pace was mentioned which funnily enough is quite important in our system and how high we play. His ability is there but physically he’s a shadow of his former self

I thought they were all well up to speed first half but all visibly tired second half.
True he hasn’t got Walker’s speed to get him out of trouble but his wing was targeted and he didn’t get any cover for about 15 minutes.
We then proceeded to double up when they came down the right and it sorted a lot of the trouble out.

We do need cover for him though. He will get injured again. It’s inevitable if he’s overplayed.
