How many countries have you been to?

There's some incredible memories on here in, what I assume is, chronological order.

UK and Spain don’t really count as they are my home countries, the US is a push because I currently live here, having visited many states (living in two of them), and Switzerland, France, and Germany are a bit of stretch because a few members of my family live in those countries, as does most of the missus’ family as she is Swiss, so I have spent a lot of time in all of them.

So this is the list that I think matches the intended spirit of the thread (I have lived/worked in a few of the places, but for a brief enough time, long enough ago, that I think they still count as more “visited” than anything).

I probably missed a few.

Australia
Austria
Belgium

Congo
Czech Republic
Denmark
Egypt
Ghana
Gibraltar
Israel

Covid robbed me of the Seychelles earlier this year :-(
:-(

It has robbed us of China, ironically.

Though, that may have been a bit of a pipedream now for reasons other than the pandemic, anyway, so perhaps it is unfair to say the virus has robbed us of it.

Fucking hell, you've lived in all the glamourous places. What the hell do you do to be working in all those places?

I love travel, wish I did more in my 20s rather than having a "living for the weekend" mentality. So far I've been to..

Austria
Belgium
Czech Republic
Denmark
France
Germany
Greece
Ireland
Italy
Japan
Norway
Oman
Poland
Portugal
Spain
UAE
USA (NY)

The below are on my bucket list..

Marrakech
Bali
Iceland
Croatia
South Africa

Some very well traveled people in here. My list isn’t anything as long as most so far.
One place I have been that I haven’t seen listed so far is Comoros.

Went there on my honey moon many moons ago. Spectacular.

I started this thread and it wasn’t my intention. I’m genuinely interested and enjoying the variety of responses.
hey there, it's a great thread, hope i didn't offend you. if you read it again from an aging sexual prowess angle you'll see it was a joke. A bit dry i guess, cheers.

None taken. I’d be concerned if someone misread what this thread was about (self-explanatory with the title) and deliberately came on to be riled with jealousy.

I’ve wanted to go to New York and Iceland for as long as I can remember. Achievable dreams.

I love to travel. It’s changed my life. I’ve been to:

France
America
Spain (three times)
Sweden
Serbia
Georgia
Germany (six times)
Denmark
Ireland
Albania
Hungary
Slovakia
Turkey
Azerbaijan

Anyone beat that?
I m sailing with Carnival, so I basically visited 3/4 of the world. Last year I was with Splendor on the longest Carnival journey ever: Long Beach (La) - Singapore. Can anyone beat this?
