Well, well, well! I thought Jonny Moss would have tried to go straight to pens even at 2-1! How many times were our players 'clattered' acc the MDC and no card. Delap breathes on their goalie and Jonny's there with the card before Liam's lungs have emptied.

We are like a huge knife with the bluntest blade. I thought Walker, Doyle and Foden were great. Delay caused problems but worried how ordinary Torres looked.

Delap is a beast, 17 and no fear.
Pep has to throw him in this season in the league.
Good performance from the youngsters, Delap took his goal brilliantly, he could save us a few quid, into the next round.

Overall...not too bad.

Progressed which is all we wanted.

Really like the look of Delap, belting finish, decent holding up of the ball and really physical. Only 17 as well!

Decent game to watch, Delap, Foden and Doyle did well. Torres looked better wide in the 2nd half. Flaky at the back at times but what else is new. Steffen looked ok but didn't have a lot to do apart from rushing out to clear in the 2nd half.

Foden, Delap, Doyle were all magnificent.

Others a bit hit and miss.

But the Bournemouth players can all **** off back to their huts, especially Gosling, Smith, and both Cooks.

Zack Steffen - wasn't tested, decent distribution so happy with his debut and happy to see he fits the mold

Kyle Walker - Mr. Consistent

Taylor Harwood-Bellis - Sticky game for him, some good moments some sloppy moments but look solid throughout

Eric Garcia - Seemed nervous

Adrian Bernabe - Not a left back and it showed but didn't really put a foot wrong, unlucky with his injury

Tommy Doyle - Kept possession moving and controlled the game, excellent performance

Rodri - Solid, quiet and worked well in a double pivot

Ferran Torres - Nothing seemed to come of for him, frustrating performance

Phil Foden - Excellent through ball for the first, great reactions for the second

Riyad Mahrez - Selfish, lazy

Liam Delap - Beautiful left foot finish, worked hard all night, felt sorry for him with the lack of service

Benjamin Mendy - Weird game from him, looked solid and composed at the back yet his crosses were wild

Kevin De Bruyne - all action when he came on, lucky to still have a head

Raheem Sterling - Did nowt

Delap aint shy is he?!?!?!

Great goal and puts himself about as well....quicker than he looks as well. Will be intresting to see if/how he develops and whether he can make it at the top.

Doyle I thought was very good - uses the ball very well

Foden was very good as well again and another goal for him

Steffan looks better than Bravo with his feet at least which gives the defenders more confidence.

Great to stay int he cup as long as possible as we will get to see more of the young lads....I wonder as/if we continue to progress, Pep will continue to use the young lads?

Some decent performances especially delap,Doyle and foden,keeper made a couple of good blocks when they threatened but apart from that nothing else of note,always worry in games like this when you have to bring first team players on and the possibility of injuries,especially when the opposition begin to try and injure players,thought Bournemouth were better than that ..
