It's not crying when you point out we're already making the same errors that lost us 9 games last season.

It's not missing players, its the fact that with one decent pass the opposition end up one-on-one with Ederson.

And you would do what? We are playing attacking football. Leicester are falling very deep. Would you rather we held players back in our half in case they lump the ball up field? What would you do?

The way to play them is to stop the ball from going over the top in the first place and that is what we do by closing down the guy with the ball. What ‘errors’ are we making?.

Can't argue that the defence is poor but the system doesn't does us any favours, pushing the full backs up every time and leaving space at the back.

Wouldn't mind if the full backs could cross but they can't, and yet we ping 70 yard balls to Mendy all game.

Not entirely sure why we kept taking the ball so far up the park and pressing them back after we’d scored. We need to drop 15-20 yards instead and draw them up the park, which should in turn give us more space.

I think you are sending a statement of how you plan to use that player and his role in the first team yes. You don't name a captain to be a bit part player.

Did we remove the captaincy from Vinnie when he had those two bad injury hit years?

As somebody who has played football all their life the armband means fuck all, he is the guy that flips the coin and takes the word of the ref, if you are relying on just one man to gee everybody up then you have al;ready lost.

The team should have 4 or 5 leaders with or without an armband.

Cancelo, Laporte, stones, gundagon, Jesus, Sergio, Bernardo all out and twats on here crying like little babies because we’re not 3 or 4 nil up.

I think its that we have created nothing outside of set pieces and could have conceded 2 or 3 on the counter.

To be fair, if one player is having a ‘mare, most every other player has to compensate, and that can have unfortunate knock on effects.

I am not sure Mendy is quite there yet, but he didn’t have a great half, either.

That said, I think the incident many people are criticising Mendy for actually began with Ake being drawn out of position, so that was an example of the knock on the effect, just in the other direction.

Its just iritating that people see something happen and will jump on Mendy, Mahrez, Rodri etc because they dont like those players, regardless if they were at fault or not.

Mendy has a better half than Foden or Sterling but havent seen a single comment slagging them off.

The more I watch the Walker challenge the more annoyed I get. Just let him go, there's a chance Ederson may save it or he misses.

Things you hate to see - Sky lauding a team that has had one shot - penalty - as though they are a great side. No bones about it but that Leicester first half performance had zero entertainment and very little skill. But hey, they love to see us struggle don't they. Absolutely fantastic goal from Mahrez, a blinder, but need to see him actually beat a man - he can do it at will but wants to cut inside every time. Made for Torres to show why we bought him - to run at them with pace. Other than that a reasonable first half for us.
