Leicester City (H) Post Match Thread

Tough to watch. That's what can happen when you play like shit against half decent opposition. We need another two bodies at least, because this squad needs a kick up the arse. Felt sorry for Pep, he made the right change to bring on Delap and then Garcia threw the game. Mendy is nowhere near his best and he's in need of a long long rest, but Zinchenko no better. Buy a fucking left back. Mahrez is a selfish waster.

Haha! What the fuckity fuck was that second half?
Shambles all over the pitch. Think we can file that away never to be discussed ever again.
Will leave the thread for all the mental, angry bastards who will obviously be letting off steam.
I’m going getting drunk.

WOW where do we start.Just a bad day at the office and injuries obviously didn`t help but by fuck talk about needing centre backs we urgently need a left back.
This isn`t a knee jerk reaction as Mendy for me is nowhere near a level that we should be demanding of.
Ah well no doubt there will be worse posts than mine.

I think we have a good left back in Cancelo.

Pep will sort this.
Too much negativity on here

We should be winning everything with the world at our feet at all times, it's just not right that other teams have the audacity to compete and score goals against us when we are a bit shit on the day.

I'm still singing the blues and know it'll come good in the end, and if it doesn't I will still be a blue with blue humour laughing at our bad days at the office.

fk the carabao cup. there was no need to player any of our first team players in that shite competition. esp when u know the squad is tight.

Well beaten, 3 of the softest pens you'll ever see. Mendy cannot defend and is not great going forward. I said it after Wolves and I'll say it again, we need a left back that can defend. Ake looked fine. I have never been convinced that Garcia is ready and today proved it. If we get a left back, no need to panic. This season is gonna be full of injuries for all teams and will be survival of strongest.
Bin off league cup against Burnley.

felt something rotten coming ,a draw at worst. I knew we could be sucker punched (1-3? ) but this is holes opened!

what do we do from here? train keepy uppys to wallop the ball of players hands in training so we can get 17 penalties in one game...... this is bullshit. congrats EFA in ruining the game. Not blaming anyone else for our defeat, well done lcfc. The game is fucked.....

Absolute joke by the players. 3 penalties that should of all been avoided. Why commit fouls when you know that VAR is in use.

Shit summer rounded off with slow movement in the market

Clearly we lacking pace/energy in midfield....Hope we dont make same mistake as last summer, by not filling positions of need...we'll improve but the signs are there! Fern is now 35 and cant do it for the full 90mins....We still need to add to this squad if we want a chance to close gap at top of prem!

clam down guys, shit happens, and good it happened so early. No preseason, so many players not fully ready. Pep will get this sorted. Clearly Gracia is crap and needs to go, but not helped by midfield. We need a left back asap. Not sure why pep bothered about carabo cup with so many issues on hand.

I think Pep’s intensity has gone.

It went 9 months ago but that won’t stop people still thinking we’re lucky to have him.

The players quite simply are not responding to his methods.

Having so many players missing just hides the problem IMO. The fundamentals behind what makes Pep a success are nowhere to be seen. We don’t press, there’s a chronic lack of movement and we cannot defend.

Disjointed and disappointing. And deep down I fear that may describe our season as it unfolds. Not sure I can see it even being one of transition, as I’m not sure we’re actually heading in a different direction or style. Early days perhaps ...
