I don't read much BBC stuff (particularly football or City stuff) but here's an article from a left-leaning source. There is violence from extreme left and extreme right groups. Claiming it is just right wing hate groups is burying your head in the sand.
That’s an article about violent memes and online messaging.

And who was claiming that violence is *only* coming from right wing hate groups?

I know someone was claiming that violence at rallies was only coming from the left, but I did not see the post where someone claimed it was only coming from the right.

I did want to highlight this bit from the article you posted, though.

“The report acknowledges that left-wing political actors, including those who embrace the antifa movement, have been responsible for far less violence than white supremacists and other right-wing ones — a finding consistent with the conclusions of law enforcement and other threat analysts.”

Ok, this is where we end the discussion, as most would not hold that link (or the sub links on that page) to be credible, vetted sources.

And you have selectively responded to posts, ignoring the ones that call out the contradictions, inconsistencies, and falsehoods in your original and subsequent statements.

You have also posted and then deleted many different comments, which further muddles the discussion in the thread.

In fact, you’ve derailed the thread.

So we can move on or you can move on.
The posts I haven't reponded to all relate to the same thing. Me being requested to provide evidence of the lefts violence. So I have now provided requested evidence and it's not good enough so yes, Lets end it there then. I posted and deleted two comments because they contained replies in replies that I hadn't deleted from a previous reply because I have had about 15 responses and I'm trying to keep up. That or they were a reply in error to the wrong poster. For what it's worth one final time, I do not support Trump, don't like the man. I was merely saying that the left are inciting violence on a large scale but that doesn't seem to be discussed only Trump supporters being violent does. Obviously violence is coming from both sides as now proved by me and others here. No need for the hostility from posters, I haven't been.

Counterpoint.

Cheers, we shall move on.

Your point was not baseless - there is plenty of violence incited by left wing mobs (there is by right wing groups also).
The problem is the source you quoted. There were much more credible outlets that would have better supported your assertion.

His original statement:

“Trump supporters aren't the ones inciting violence at rallies, the left are.”

That is baseless. Now, if he has softened it to being something more like “the left also commit violence”, then that is obviously not baseless, even if the left still commit violence at a much, much lower rate than the right.

If that is the case, then I don’t think most in this thread would disagree with him on the statement. We might still disagree on the degree of violence, but it would be a much more amicable discussion.

Thats all I'm saying, every coin has two faces. I only posted that as there is video evidence, it's different from someones account of an event in text. I have took on board the evidence provided by others and others have been reluctant to of mine and instead just labelled me a trump supporter or called me not fit to burn. Some have took the evidence on board though and thank you.

Yes I agree the original comment is incorrect. But I can't agree that the left incites violence at a lower rate. I've watched 3+ months of American cities burning with federal buildings being burnt down. Very little of that seems to be from right wing groups. Now as others have pointed out, there has been plenty of right wing supremacist violence at other times (e.g. Charlottesville). I've not done a scientific tally, but what I see is both parties being ravaged by extremists and very little centrist discourse and policy-making. I blame both parties for this.
