We should be fielding a strong team in this, the domestic cups look our best bet for a trophy after yesterday's shambles. Unless of course Txiki is planning a blitz on a top class LB and DM in the last week of the window.

So you want us to play a strong team less than 72 hours before we play one of the fittest teams in the league? And if that means playing the likes of De Bruyne, Foden and Sterling then they’ll all have played 5 games in 12 days after the Leeds match.

I just can’t see Burnley being up for this match at all. They’ve only got about 12 fit players and they’ll probably have to rest their best ones to not risk injuring any of them.

It shouldn't be any worse than yesterday's unacceptable shambles. We might still lose though, still too many injuries and Pep is so stubborn he will probably play a load of kids mixed with KDB and Sterling, so knacker out our two best players but still not have enough quality in to win the game.

Pep will play mostly youngsters imo. And he will be right even if it makes it likely that we lose. We've won enough cups under Pep, concentrate on the PL and the CL. One early defeat does not decide the league. Liverpool are suspiciously fit and almost never have injury crises but who knows, they might be approaching the end of their cycle after having used the same key players again and again over the last 3 years.
