Or maybe players would have done better at City than elsewhere? Sanchez has been brilliant in Italy, and joins a long list of players who went to United with big reputations, did awfully, and have been back to their best since leaving.
Sanchez wouldn't have been 'as' bad, but he was already looking jaded at Arsenal & folks saying it was just because he was 'rusty'
Jorginho would have added a weakness, rather than a strength.

This is incredibly short sighted. It wasn't that long ago people were giddy and saying Pep improved every single player he worked with, now the side's form has dipped and suddenly everyone's gone backwards.
He's improved most players on the ball but has improved none of the defenders, defensively imo.
If he presented a coaching video of his back 4 defending over a season, he could put a laughter track with it

We are in decline, we have players going backwards, things are not good and if you can't see that your kidding yourself.
Or maybe we can take a step back & look at the whole situation- taking into account injuries which have resulted in players having to play out of position. We’ve got great players, & according to the neutrals, have made some great signings in Ake & Dias.

Or maybe we can take a step back & look at the whole situation- taking into account injuries which have resulted in players having to play out of position. We’ve got great players, & according to the neutrals, have made some great signings in Ake & Dias.
We need to win the title back,but it's gonna be hard without new players,and even harder if he plays certain individuals like yesterday.

Is it an FFP issue or a squad issue that we’re not already trying to buy a left back. Even if Zinchenko stays we still have a foreign spot free. Who or what are we waiting for?

A week to go... once Ruben is here do we think that’s it? One of the issue this window has highlighted for me is how we struggle to move players on and therefore to make changes. Otters Txiki has done wonders there thank fuck for PAOk! But Yaya was around too long , have we done the same with Sergio and Ferna? Making them even harder to replace.

This is what gets me. Would we have walked if the money involved was much lower? If they're not good enough at a certain value, then they're not good enough at ANY value.We never bid on either player, that's what I'm trying to say- we walked because we didn't consider them good enough for the money involved.
