That too, among other things. I'm one of those who rates Mendy higher than most and believe he needed plenty of time to recover as fully as possible from those injuries, physically and mentally, but he has shortcomings that persist so we need an option that improves us defensively.
Well I think that just having another left back is so important. We cannot rely on mendy for every game and zinchenko isn’t a left back so it makes our team a lot stronger i believe

One thing that gave me encouragement about him last night was his conviction into tackles maybe your right he needs more time more games to get up to speed bit like stones but he gets injured again.

Is 3-5-2 not the answer to our left back situation. Wing backs with less defensive duties, walker stepping in to the back 3 to become a 4 when required or making up numbers in defensive midfield (as he has limited final ball). This leaves us with plenty of numbers in midfield and upfront to hopefully suffocate the opponent but still have adequate cover at the back (now have Dias and Ake).
something needs to change as were a little predictable at present

If we were going to play 343/352 regularly I would have hoped we would have kept Angelino.

True or not, your daily reminder that Garcia should never play for City again

Not sure we should be so sensitive about this. It's his boyhood club in his home country. Plus, we have brought in two big signings in his position. If he wants to move then fair enough, as long as he continues to behave like a professional, then fair enough. The fact tha Pep has played him suggests his behaviour has been good.

I am sure some players who have signed for us pressured their previous clubs to leave. Mahrez being a recent case.
