The point a lot of posters on here are not willing to acknowledge is that our 2 ‘frontline‘ centre forwards are not good enough / no longer good enough, especially when you consider that we don’t have a left or right sided attacker who is clinical.

All I am saying is we need another striker bc one is amazing but is getting old and can’t stay healthy, the other is not clinical enough. Wouldn’t hurt to have a 3rd option as a striker. If you honeslty think that Jesus and aguero can go all season as our only out and out strikers then idk what to tell ya.

Jesus isn’t good enough that’s a fact, Aguero one of the best there’s been but suppose no guarantee to how he comes back from another massive injury or even how long for, need a striker as much a we needed a centre of half or do need a left back

The squad is unbalanced
We have a bunch of forwards who need numerous chances to score. Aguero is the only one you can be confident of scoring a 1 vs 1
Now Silva has gone we have no game controlling midfielders which means we're more of a transition team and Rodri is the worst style of DM possible when that's the case. Yesterday (where we had less possession than Leeds) the midfield was embarrassing until Dinho came on, and a double pivot of Rodri and Dinho is not gonna create enough chances for our wasteful forwards.
Pep's 5th season, and LB is still an issue. Pep has done more than enough getting a season each out of Delph and Zinchenko - winning the league both years - he should be given a LB.
The LB issue is made even worse because all of our wide forwards are rightfooted meaning our left side width is solely down to LB and Mendy is the only viable option high up the pitch. Sane masked half of the LB issue

Why is it hilarious? You are allowed to acknowledge that Aguero has been a legend here but is now the wrong side of his peak, his level has dropped and that injuries, which have always been a problem for him are only likely to get worse. If you think the Aguero you saw on the pitch last season was good enough to be the main attacking threat over the course of a season in a team that wants to win the league and the champions league then you can’t be helped. He should have a supporting role this season like Silva had last season. He’s still capable of 15-20 goals in all competitions if used correctly. But if you think he’s going to score 30 in a season again for us then it’s just delusional.

and Jesus needs 4/5 easy chances to score 1.

Spot on.

For one of the biggest clubs in world football,chasing multiple trophies,our striking options are far from good.
