Why was Pep playing unfit players in Carabou Cup then - surely he should know how to manage player game time.
When so many are getting injured he decided to go full throttle in Carabou to score as many as possible and then get thrashed around in league.

Players aren't fit because they had no preseason, that's why he (and other top 6 teams) went so strong in the cup IMO, they're trying to get people up to speed without 4 or 5 friendlies.
