Took the day off from wanking the scousers off! Yesterday never happened, yesterday never happened, yesterday never happened. Scouse media have gone into hiding and are plugging their ears with candle wax.

Yeah altgough to be fair to liverpool, they Were missing their key top players yesterday.

First choice keeper and the regular VAR staff.

Sure the Garcia deal is off now? Only 45 minutes left.

If so, thats jyst another 8m they need to find somewhere

If City are holding out then I can't see Barca being able to afford it.
Though some on here might react negatively to us keeping hold of a player who wants out, I think it show's up Barca more - they're skint!

City must have a very good reason for turning down good money for Garcia.
Can't for the life of me think what it is?

Turn down €17m for Garcia with 9 months left on his contract, but will agree to let Leipzig have Angelino (a significantly better player) on another loan and reduce his buyout clause for €30 to €18m after a successful loan.

People can talk about how 'it's about sending a message', but our board are fucking awful at selling players and have a wierd chip on their shoulders in the way they do business. It cost us €70m last season with Sane as well.

Turning down €17m to let a player rot on the training ground doesn't do anyone a favour. We could have bought bloody Telles with that money.

I highly doubt money was the issue mate. We could've signed who we wanted, maybe the manager thinks options brought it and existing players from squad are enough for now, so let's leave it to him.

If we'd have wanted Telles we would have got him.

Signing any left back available is definitely not the answer. If Telles was that good other clubs than United would have been in for him at the price he went for.

A shiny new toy is always the answer for some on here. I havnt seen Telles play (atleast havnt noticed) and I am sure most suggesting him, Tagliofico (except the WC) havnt seen much of those either.

My point isn't that we should have signed him, my point is that we just threw away cash to the same value of a decent player in order to prove some non-point.

We now have a player who doesn't want to be here and isn't needed given he has 5 other options ahead of him, who will sign a contract with Barca in January, we carry on paying his wages and then he leaves for nothing next summer.

No one wins here.
