If keeping Garcia means Ferna gets more minutes in midfield, happy with that.

Richard Keys now posts on here apparently. Is Jack Wiltshire worth a 12 month contract
He won’t play for us again. If keeping Garcia means Ferna gets more minutes in midfield, happy with that.
If we can’t credit the good without criticising the bad, isn’t that just the “cynical” fan syndrome?Half is right. 50-50. Two legendary seasons, two fucking embarrassments where we didn't even challenge. You can’t give him credit for the good but still give him a free pass for the bad. Though the usual suspects will be along in a minute calling him a ‘visionary’
We paid £21m for Torres and value Garcia similarly due to their similar profile. Not sure how £6m short of our valuation is ‘very acceptable’ or I’m sure Valencia would have accepted £15m for Torres.
The difference being if we didn't pay that for Torres, a host of other clubs would.
Garcia has made it widly known that he's only joining Barca, so the selling price is dictating by what they're willing to pay, otherwise we would get nothing for him.
It's not £15m though is it, it's €10m plus hypothetical add ons, potentially ridiculous ones like "if he wins the European Cup in the next 3 seasons" and "if he plays 500 games".
If you ran a business you'd be bankrupt.

You're just being a WUM now.
Torres wanted City like Garcia wants Barca - do you really think £21m was an impossible financial outlay for other clubs? United have just spent a potential £41m on an 18 year old I’ve never heard of.The difference being if we didn't pay that for Torres, a host of other clubs would.

Great counter argument mate.

We wanted Torres, he wanted us, we paid the asking price or negotiated to an acceptable level. Barca didn’t do the same. Not sure what’s wrong about it.

Manchester United confirm €41m signing of wonderkid Amad Diallo
Diallo set to join in January, subject to medical, personal terms and work permitwww.independent.co.uk
All of what you’ve just typed is just made up conjecture that you’ve plucked from your anus.Torres wanted City, but if City said "we're not paying £21m" I very much doubt Torres was as wedded to joining the club as a Barcelona born, La Masia graduate like Garcia.
Torres would just gone to one of the many other big clubs after him that were willing to pay what Valencia wanted.
Garcia had other offers this summer. He turned them down because he wants to return to his boyhood club. That meant that were stuck with whatever Barca were willing to pay.
Amad Traore is a wonderkid that's been linked to a lot of top clubs. Most importantly, his transfer fee doesn't matter in this conversation as he wouldn't be leaving for free next season.
We will never know, aside from Ornstein's word. I do think if he manages to stay fit this season and has a few good games he will leave next year if he is unable to displace Laporte and Dias.any truth int his spurs approach Stones story?
And he’s that enamoured with them he left them 3 years ago to move to Manchester lmao, truly a miraculous bond.as wedded to joining the club as a Barcelona born, La Masia graduate like Garcia.
