If you are bothered that much you’d know it’s Union flag, not jack...
Sorry I’m replying a bit late to this, but I felt I had to.
The small union flag would be known as the Jack if flown from a
short Jackstaff.
But would be known as the Ensign when flown as in full size from the main mast, both at sea (as in jackstaff on the bow and the ensign flown at the stern) and on land where the ensign would be flown from the main pole (the largest) and a jack flown on the short pole.

So yes the union flag can be called a jack as well as the ensign.

hope this helps.

If Klipperty is a heartthrob there must be some blind women and gay men about in dipperville
Tbf he is pretty good-looking, if a bit trampy. Not my type though. Silva/Pochettino/Arteta are more my type. He's hotter than Ancelotti, but that's not an achievement.

Being serious about COVID, Liverpool has had a fair few protests from those QAnon twats recently, which probably doesn't help the rates.

Ancellotti is about 80 so not much competition there to be fair. Now off to specs avers with you before it's too late

He's hotter than Steve Bruce. Mind you, so are the other 18 managers.

The Prem has lost its mojo....

From the Flag Institute-

"In 1902 an Admiralty Circular announced that either name could be used officially. And in 1908 the UK Parliament approved this verdict, stating that ‘the Union Jack should be regarded as the National flag’"

And in 2020, @dennishasdoneit decreed that the Institute should stick their fcukin flagpole up their arse :)
