No sir — he’s trying to get his base out and voting to combat the early ballots so he can have some kind of “legitimate” grounds to contest the election. Because if he loses by, say, 75 EC votes or more, it’s going to be quite difficult to find enough Republican state legislatures to go to bat for him. And those odds are ridiculously small under any scenario anyhow, of course. But recall this guy has no compunction about trying anything at all that will plump up his own self-aggrandizement, however ridiculous and outlandish or immoral and in some instances illegal. The fact that he thinks it could be done is all that matters to him, not that it actually could be or, heaven knows, that it would be “wrong” or “right.”

He’s also getting all his licks in to sow as much animosity, confusion and division as possible. It will be his “revenge” on the country that “wronged” him.

What’s ironic given the discussion over the last few pages is that African Americans are responsible more than any other group for Joe Biden even being the nominee. He was left for dead before Jim Clyburn and Black voters in South Carolina and rest of the southern states had their say. We all agree Biden isn’t perfect, but Black voter preference for his election isn’t in question at all.

Oh, no one in particular. Was just an example. I was talking to my son just today about community service (part of his high school graduation requirement) and he asked me what I did. I worked at a house a few blocks down from San Quentin prison here in SF. It's where families would stay for free while waiting to visit their relatives on the inside. I did gardening and cleaning around the house for a summer -- I think we had 100 hours.

I was just thinking about those families, some of whom knew their husband or dad was never getting out, others for whom the stint was shorter. Often the family had become very religious as had the inmate. They changed. It was a good, good learning experience for a 16-year old.
